Surely Selwood gets weeks this time.

Elected to bump. Gets the head. Minimum 2 weeks.

How about lining up his head outside the contest. The reaction from the bench said it all. Pretty pathetic by Joel.

Do you really expect anything less? Cheated for his entire career with the head duck and loves the cheap shot off the ball to defenceless players (look at the eye gouging earlier in the year against the Dogs).

It's a great test for the tribunal. That sort of stuff is incredible dangerous. But the player he hit, got up no worries. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he gets off on insufficient contact. Which would be a joke. But that's the way the tribunal works - look at Buddy getting off last week.

Geez it's not a great look for the game though. That kind of stuff has potential for serious injury. Don't want to see kids doing that on the weekend. Etc etc

Zac Williams early in the year was worth a week with Hunter Clark playing out the match. The argument that Taylor played out the game is irrelevant. Has to be suspended.

Plenty of players get suspended after their opponent gets up and plays out the game. I don't see why that should be a mitigating factor.

Has to be at least a week. Wasn't playing the ball and lined up a player in a vulnerable position.
Loved the way BT tried to brush over it "he got up so he should be fine". Everyone else just stayed silent. If it had been anyone other than a big name player, they'd all be discussing how many weeks it was worth.
Took Daisy to have the balls to bring it back up and say it will definitely be looked at.

If anyone ever wants to know what Selwood was like as a player, watch: Trouble for Trengove? (afl.com.au). Loves the cheap snipe, sooks to the umpire if anyone dares to give it back. He's a deadset *******. He used to literally headbutt people with the back/side of his head after a tackle looking for frees (aside from the well known ducking). He's done it his entire career with his mates sucking him off in the commentary box while a guy like Robbie Gray (and every other teams Robbie Gray) will get called out for throw his arms up or looking at the umpire and used as a reason to justify clear free kicks not paid.

The fact that Sam Taylor had a shiner as well as a blood-clot eyeball would suggest he got hit pretty hard.

Seeing as they have gone "all in"on head high hits, Selwood should get two-weeks as a minimum. He knows better than that and should pay a decent penalty accordingly.

And as for those muppets in the commentary box, just STFU about potential tribunal incidents, you look like a deadset goose no matter what your speculation is.
