I am surprised this thread has reached 3 pages.

But in answer to your question, it could be that Selwood tags are the most effective in stopping him. Not necessarily a compliment if teams chose to tag him over others.

Geelong has been a lot closer, who knows maybe having Boak as our 7th best midfielder in 2016 or '17 might have gotten us a few more wins. There was also '13 which we lost the PF by less than a kick.

Have the younger players such as Wines, Oliver, Martin, Fyfe, Boak, Edwards, Duncan, Parker, Weller, D. Smith, Merrett, Neale, Adams, Gresham, Prestia, Cripps, Mitchell, Shuey, Gaff, Macrae, Coniglio, Kelly etc. moved past him? How long has he got left?
