How many weeks for a deliberate trip?

Less than Riley Knight should get for his punch to the gut off the ball in the first quarter.

Lol he barely touched him. In fact, Selwood hit him first so Knight retaliated. If you want Knight rubbed out, Selwood needs to be too.

Probably lucky he got tripped as he would have been wrapped up otherwise.

Milera will get 3 weeks, at least:
--- 2 , for kicking Selwood and another
---- 1, for hitting the other Geelong player's feet with his head.
More, if Selwood had taken a Neymar dive. Surprised he didn't.

Now that's funny, a clear cut "Neymar" dive right there...super acting job!

If not for the trip he was going clear past the back of Duncan. The swinging leg and fast moving player have traditionally meant that it's a week, right? Both captains suspended from the same game perhaps.

Fine for the dive, fine for the trip. Combine the points and the cheat deserves a game. And how about his flop when he felt someone touch his back? Pity it was Dangerfield. He is a deadset disgrace.

    Speaking of Neymar dives...

    526040_4ca1aac9158f1cece9eb1fb7dcf7eb53.gif

Look at him drop the knees, lift up his feet and take a dive after running into Gibbs!
At least he didn't roll around or lift his hands up to his face.

someone with the twitter machine post this to the media

Selwood initiates as much contact as Gibbs and drops like a sack of spuds

A stain on the game, which makes it more infuriating because he is a good enough player that he doesn't need to stoop to such scum bag levels

Or maybe he isn't that good. He's just an slightly better than average player who attracts a lot of free kicks. Gets as much of the ball as any inside mid, doesn't do a whole lot with it if he's in traffic and doesn't get a free. Not super fit, not fast, not a better than average mark or kick for a mid with his experience. The only things that separate him from an average 200+ game midfielder are the ducks, dives, eye gouges, trips, stomps, sprig scrapes, and knee drops.

Tex still gets 2-3 weeks regardless of what crappy other "incidents" you raise from the game.

Did the same thing to Wingard when he was last in Adelaide. Serial cheat, serial diver, serial flog.

That's a dive not a trip. Get a 3d tv. The moment Selwoods fingertips go near his head he flops.

I don't think that bearded player tripped Mitch Duncan deliberately

But it's definitely dangerous. If you dive into a running player it should be a 50m penalty

Selwood should definitely get a fine but won't. How many times was fletcher suspended for exactly this?

Cannot believe this replay was shown half a dozen times and not one commentator mentions it.
