I rate Fred Wooller as a better Cats skipper. Selwood is an average Finals skipper.

Personally I think he has been an A grader but not a Champion. No doubt the ducking has diminished his standing in the game. Geebers, imagine if he played for Footscray!!

So he has less B&Fs, was never BOG in a premiership, but is better???? Must be the "most courageous player" award that did it for you. I mean the list of winners of that award does read like a who's who of AFL greats - Teague, Archer, Grimes & Rampe to name but a few.

Joel did manage to get the best out of his limited ability, which he should be congratulated for. Oh, and you forgot to include in Joel's achievements that he is "head and shoulders" above Pendles, and anyone else, on the free kick ladder.
