Draft Profile Joel Wilkinson

Anyone know much about this guy? What are peoples draft predictions on him. He seems to be turning head at draft camp, and being a QLD'er surely the lions will strongly consider him with one of their 1st rounders?

yeah he could have gone last year.

about 183cm midfielder with a fairly strong frame and good speed and endurance as testing showed. Very good core strength and stays on his feet well. Skills are good but he just has that raging bull element to him where he is intent on getting it fwd and to advantage. Wouldnt be far off playing in a lesser side.

I dont think they have used all their zone selections bc they are still debating Hickey (eg maybe not taking bc they already have a number of young rucks and likely to draft another two possibly).

Would love the Lions to be on the phone to Surfers with 'swap you the Harbrow compo pick for Joel'.

Evidently they are looking to bank a couple of picks & IMO in 2 years Joel will be better 4 us than Justin Sherman.
