Sorry to answer you so late Bedford. Had to finish off work late.

I think Moore is another one that seems to do the things that coaches love. Though I perhaps have him in the category of Buchanan. I reckon he doesn't get much money & never will. Each team will have a few of these players to keep the salary cap balanced. Schneider would have been on much more money if he stayed so I think he gets the gig based on value for money.

Moore does things sometimes that makes him belong in our best 22. But that last final against the Dogs where Harbrow just ran off him didn't do him any favours. For his sake I hope he wasn't fully fit but I think perhaps Rohan would have done a better job in hindsight.

Against Freo when he ran back & got cleaned up takes something special to do. I think he is a gutsy player & when at his best he has some upside but he will have Rohan breathing down his neck with Longmire as coach.

I wouldn't be fussed if he was traded but we wouldn't get much for him.

On another note, I watched a replay of the IR game in Ireland.
I thought McVeigh did a nice job. He seem to relish the freedom. He is a very skillfull player & didn't look out of place amongst some good footballers in that game.

Your honest thoughts on his performance!

I'm a little surprised about the criticism of Mcveigh. there's not any top level players who are 100% in each and every game. remember Judd in our final - brillinat in one quarter - missing the next - arguably cost them the game.

Mcveigh has some special talent and awareness e.g. pass to Big Jesse for a crucial goal - most players would have killed it or done otherwise.

with bradhsaw, bird, seaby, bolton back from injury next year, i reckon Mcveigh could cut loose as the opposition focus will be on Jack, Mcglynn, kennedy and Goodesy in the midfield.

Note: Just thiking about our team next year - i'm off to put $100 on swans top 4.

Just reading the article now and can I just say that the first few sentences re: Ed are not only sad but so very true. Point in case:

"Unfortunately for Ed, he didn't have the season he wanted and we didn't get a result for him."

Havn't finished it yet but so far it seems dead set honest and a great read.

EDIT: re: CBoltz' achillies "it's similar to Brad Johnson from the Bulldogs"

Comparing our list review to others it is annoying me that others do not have reviews on players who were traded or delisted. It would be nice to see the clubs reasons for dong so.
