I see your point experience wise but for me it’s not an issue. Excellent that he’s had playing/coaching experience at Collingwood, Sydney and now North.
I like Caracalla too but unsure if Nicks will come home now he’s landed at GWS. I think the timing will be out for him.

He was gifted a good team, he almost made the most of it. He’s been a fantastic coach but he’s run out of puff in the past 2 years.
May well be the case but he deserves bit more respect shown around here.
Saints/Essendon infact some other clubs might even sack their current coach to get Longmire in.

No he doesn’t, he’s been here a very long time and been paid well to do his job. He’s also the head Coach of the team and is expected by the club to contest for a flag every year, just like the players get paid well to play off for a flag. If you’re seen to be going backward (and he is), it’s time to move on just like the players!

I agree. Kirky, Kennelly, Shaw (left), Laidler, Perris and Papa Blakey. Some have been elsewhere, some have been here forever
I just feel it's too stale sometimes and borders on arrogance. Cox and Stevie were moves in the right direction
Mcveigh probably gets a coaching gig next year too. If horse DID leave, hope we dont promote internally...
