Had them as my top 3 but really disappointed that Kreuz didn't win. Not saying that Murphy isn't deserving but I'm feeling a little empty on this one.

Doc AA, Kreuzer underappreciated by his own coaches equal with top rucks and Murphy wouldn't be in top 20 mids.

Jones to be top 10 after half a season (ish) is huge. And for Charlie to be top 10 in his first full season is massive too. And loving the lots of love for Plowman.
Fantastic to see Jones in the Top 10. At the start of the season you could have written your own odds for him even scoring 1 vote.

I'm genuinely gobsmacked by that result. I can't get my head around the idea of Murph having a better season than Sam and Matty. I wouldn't have even had him in the conversation.

Cause you would know more watching a game on tv or from the stands than our coaches themselves who analyse each players games deeply and know exactly what they want to see from each player in an in-depth way that your average supporter will just never know?
Give it a rest, we all love big Kreuz but the lack of respect for Murphy is just ridiculous...shows how much he is under-appreciated by a fair few 'supporters'. Murphy is a gun player who does not get the recognition he deserves. At least our coaches do.
Should be far more congratulatory posts in this thread on a great year by Murphy, rather than all the 'wtf Kreuz robbed, Murphy undeserving' type posts im seeing.

Let's get at least some reality.
No disrespect to Doc and Kreuz who have had stellar years - and this certainly wasn't the result I expected - but I'd back an award that's decided by our coaches (who understand our gameplan, structures, and the individual role/expectations of each player far better than anyone outside the club) far more than anything that's decided by media flogs who almost certainly don't even bother watching all our games.
If our coaches, with all of their internal knowledge, rate his season the highest, then that's good enough for a lackey like me.

The top 3 is debatable all deserving, Gibbs seriously? Are you clouded by his amazing game against Gold Coast? He was a clear tier below the top three as the voting shows

Congratulations Murphy. Had a consistent year and deserved the B&F. Some of the comments are a bit disappointing imo.
