Maybe don't act like a dickhead and people won't think you're a piece of crap human being. If you actually knew his and his family history,, maybe you'd think differently.
He has several family members with chronic mental health issues, including one who has recently been on 72 hour watch in hospital.
He has had mental health issues which he's on record about when he was at Gws.
Having your name plastered around as being the second coming of Satan will affect anyone. He hasn't held a press conference, he is in hospital
He’s clearly ****ed in the head. You only have to look at how he converses with women. If you actually knew his and his family history,, maybe you'd think differently.

Just saw the news Patton, seeking help for metal health issues, well that was a surprise, not. Wondered how long that would take.

If you’re talking about that Tom Browne tweet, I think the implication was that he had tried to harm himself.
He’s done some sh*t things but let’s hope it hasn’t come to that. He’s copped enough now.
What I find funny about this is that you believe he can be normal as he goes about flashing his wang on a regular basis, this says more about you that you can think someone can do this and still be “normal”I tell you what, faking a metal illness is a big disrespectful slap in the face for people who are suffering from it and people who have recovered from it. Honestly more needs to be done to stop it. I dont buy it for a second, nobody does, but now he is going to be treated like he is suffering, when its a lie, a genuine lie. What a campaigner.
I'd like to know how many times this has actually worked for JP.
I'm tipping it has worked several times.
Accusing someone of faking mental illness when you have no idea what’s going on in their head is even more disrespectful.
Errrr no he hasn’t - Caro hasn’t had her crack at him yet
He is only depressed because he got caught.
He is only depressed because he got caught.
So you accept he is suffering a from a mental illness and not faking it. Good.
That's a great reason to send videos with your **** out.If you actually knew his and his family history,, maybe you'd think differently.

Kinda asking for a bit of trouble.....Ive always avoided relationships with colleagues because when it ends, its ALWAYS ugly....I guess one thing I'd like to know a bit more about is the depth of conversation had between these ladies.
Only reason being I work in a Government department with over 150 women and about 20 blokes in the building. Recently a young, single male was embroiled in a sexting saga between three women in the office.
At different stages, he reportedly had conversations of a sexual nature with each woman. It was consensual, there was nothing unsolicited and occurred at separate times. The three women found out it had happened and put in complaints of harassment. The dude is being dragged through the mud, is it a reasonable thing to engage in multiple relationships with girls at work? Probably not. But they've formed this vulnerable victim hood mentality that paints the bloke as the aggressor and them and unwitting suspects. On many occasions they initiated contact with him through social media.
I know its much different from the present case, but there's a bit here to indicate that some of these women were involved in consensual sexting, or at least went along with it to a point. He seems like a complete moron but I do believe there's reason to demonstrate some scepticism or allow for multiple possibilities.

Narcissistic crisis. Consequential depression is very common when people (especially privileged white men who have spent their lives getting away with things) finally face consequences for poor behaviour or decisions. Footy alone is rife with them (Carey, Hird, Mark Thompson, Gary Lyon etc).He is only depressed because he got caught.

He's clearly not well. Seen some of his messages. Real creep like stuff. Probably doesn't need to carry on like that as an AFL footballer. Be a decent bloke and I'm sure the chicks will flock.
Had he not been caught, would he currently be having mental health issues? Probably not.
That being said I know plenty of blokes like him who would currently be sh*tting themselves.
I'd suggest that the real question is, why wasn't he blocked? Schools have been teaching this for up to ten years. In a perfect world we shouldn't have to lock our cars or doors. Under no circumstances am I defending the behaviour but unlike what happens on the streets, there are many ways to avoid being an online victim beyond initial contact. There's an old saying that curiosity killed the cat, it seems to have been replaced by FOMO. Hence this thread and my involvement! Not sure if it's harassment per se unless he continues to send to the same girl who has specifically told him to f off however how dumb do you have to be to do it as a professional sportsman under your own name via social media. Hopefully there's a loophole we can get rid of him and clear the salary cap money haha

If that is your take then you probably need to reconsider your career. I don't know how long you have been teaching but subscribing to the "mental health card" is the most dangerous game that you will play. You will encounter students, colleagues and parents who have masked their depression with all kinds of behaviours before finally reaching a crisis, if you take the time to observe and listen. Perceptions of playing the mental health card has very quickly pushed those who have tried to keep their sh** together back into a place where they feel maligned. He is only depressed because he got caught.
He maybe doing it because he’s depressed as well. Not that I’m condoning it.He is only depressed because he got caught.
The biggest thing is... It doesn't matter if a girl is involved with some flirting or even sexting at some point. It doesn't mean that every time you message someone you can flip your **** out. Even if they did participate early on even multiple times for him to then follow up later on when not reciprocated is not ok in any situation.I guess one thing I'd like to know a bit more about is the depth of conversation had between these ladies.
