Jonathan Brown is such a gun. He's a blokey bloke, block of stone forward that any team could build around. He's even a good interview. Every football fan should be a fan of his.
Oh, and he's not coming to Carlton.

Brown may be out of contract end of year, but be sure that he will be offered no less than a 3 year contract before the conclusion of the season. The club loves him, he loves the club, if it's genuine then it doesn't change.

As for the topic at hand, before you randomly post what you hear, just for a moment think what kind of cash Brown as the AFL's best player would command to move to Carlton.
And in the very unlikely case of him being interested in coming to Carlton, how the hell could we possibly fit both Judd and him under the same salary cap and have enough to pay the other 36 players a decent wage.

Settle down guys. I believe him that Jono Brown is on his way to Carlton.I have heard a rumour that he is out of contract and that we will be chasing him hard at the end of the year. Someone from the club has already met him apparently

JB is pretty happy at the lions, i wouldn't be getting your hopes up. Returning to Melbourne isn't returning home as he is a country boy. He plays for the Lions which is the equivalent of playing for the team he barracked for as a kid so there is pretty much no reason why JB would even want to leave Brisbane. Oh, and unlucky about Drummond last year. Poachers.

Yes, well that sucked didn't it. Just imagine how good Murphs would of been with Blacky, Power and Lappin around him, but he definitely is starting to get some quality midfielders around him. However they are still quite young. I rest my case though he would have been a few years more advanced then he is now if he was at Brisbane with some of the true superstars of the game around him.

Plus Judd has a front ended contract, so i just don't see how we could have a spare $1 million on our salary cap.
