I liked what I saw when he played at Pies. Pre draft some had him ranked as a second rounder. Anyone know why he dropped so far?

He was super raw in his draft year and played as a tall forward when he wasn't really suited to it just because he had height.I liked what I saw when he played at Pies. Pre draft some had him ranked as a second rounder. Anyone know why he dropped so far?
He retired due to mental health issues.I've seen our Marsh play and the other was delisted what more info do you need?
Think it would have to be either the Eagles or Dockers. Would love him to get another go, was really sad to see him leave the Pies. Surely worth a shot with a late pick or as a rookie given the development already invested.

Looked impressive at WAFL level as a big bodied mid. Maybe the deficiencies in his disposal aren't as significant in that role.
What's no good is your assessment of football players, obviously...He's no good
He's left your club get over itWhat's no good is your assessment of football players, obviously...
Mate, I'll be shocked if he is on any AFL list next year let alone Freo's.so they say
more to do with DRAFT manipulation
perhaps ive seen a little bit too muchyou've been huffing too much of the smoke and shadows behind the windows
Totally wrongAm i the only one who can see or read the tealeaves
year 1
homesick young forward depressed goes home (forces trade)
year 2
Homesick relative of local legend goes home refusing to play VFL finals
Common denominator of course is
FREMANTLE
year 3
Dockers Rookie draft J marsh and pick up his brother as well cheap ( homesick card comming up), suddenly 3 young cheap recruits
NO DOUBT in my mind thats the plan.
Its called DRAFT manipulation
Only the naive would believe otherwise
Not much point seeing them if you can't read them.Am i the only one who can see or read the tealeaves

No eye deerhistory ALWAYS repeats

He was a 3rd year key defender and regarded as a project player. You're right he was on the fringe at the time (most KPP are at that stage of their careers), but he'd made huge strides in his game up to that point and was rapidly improving his game.Looked very fringe player to me while he was at the Pies, with perhaps a trade value somewhere around 50-100. But Marsh must actually be elite if he is worth risking draft manipulation for. Draft manipulation that also allows him to go to WC as well incidentally, but we are such good buddies with them so that's ok.
All according to the tea leaves of course.
yeah youre right as normal being such a poster of such crediability yourselfHe was a 3rd year key defender and regarded as a project player. The big question mark on him will be his willingness to play in a position he's told to at AFL level. He had aspirations to play midfield while at Collingwood but was pigeonholed in to a key defensive role, which was perfectly reasonable from a Collingwood perspective given it was an area of need for us and our midfield was stacked, and there have been some reports that was part of the reason he left.
He's proven to be good in the guts at WAFL level, but whether that translates to AFL level is yet to be seen. Still think his best position is behind the ball.
Edit: you're best ignoring darkyprotector, he's one of the village idiots.
