Sure.

Anyway Patton > McCarthy. GWS let McCarthy go with picks 34 and 72 for an upgrade from pick 7 to pick 3. No way they'd let Patton go for that, sob story or otherwise.

I'd be surprised if Patton wasn't a 50 goal a year forward at least once in his career.
Cmon
We traded Macarthy after he'd left and spent a year as an overpaid runner for South Freo. Our options were trade or keep him out of the game for another year and pay his contract. We're just not that spiteful so we traded. We declined two first rounders at the end of 2015 when we thought we could keep him.

Not really
We have three talls to share it around not two, and his best year is ahead of him.

LeCras kicked 45 and 38 the last two years, Josh Hill kicked 40 in 2015. We don't just have two avenues to goal (like Greene and SJ).

Back in the days when we had fit ruckmen Naitanui and Lycett/Sinclair went forward and kicked goals. Patton isn't really starved of opportunity.

Take your point. I do rate Darling it's just not one or the other in my view.

Must suck to have Kelly, Shiel, Scully etc. putting the ball inside 50.

Josh Kennedy has kicked 80 two years in a row. Must be the silver service from Priddis and Masten.

Not saying he gets shit service every week, it was an uncharacteristically sloppy effort from GWS. But when Liam Jones is constantly outpointing you it's fair to say the delivery wasn't giving him much of a chance.

From Dave Matthews own mouth after the trade was completed...

So not exactly "revisionist history" at all.

It is very much revisionist history.

Boyd asked to be traded and the leadership group agreed to let him go. It wasn't as if the group went to the club and said "we want boyd gone".

Even if that were the case, and it wasn't, it sounds like the tail wages the dog a bit at GWS. What would Callan Ward and Phil Davis know about list management?

Both of them get way better delivery than the rubbish sprayed in Tom Lynch's direction. Poor Tommy must feel like he's trying to catch a sloppy turd with a tea strainer, with two or three blokes giving him a wedgie at the same time.

Now you're just lying, and changing your point mid pist.

See I'm pretty sure yours was the lie. Most here would agree, you are known to be quite liberal with your own version of events.

This is all I'm going to say on the matter, enjoy the holiday bok

Not to a rational person it isn't. It's truly pathetic to me when a person resorts to the "everyone thinks so" argument .
It always reminds me of a quote from Einstein when a group of German Physicists published book in the 30's trying to discredit him because they didn't like jews. " If I was wrong one would have been enough". I seriously doubt you'll get the wisdom of that.

Wow. You really don't understand reality do you.

Dogs: we want boyd
Us: nope. not trading him
Dogs: we'll offer this
Us: nope not trading him
Dogs: what about this and that
Us: what part of not trading him don't you get?
Dogs: we offer this, that and this other thing because were now desperate.
Leadership group: we don't want him, get rid of him.
Us: ok, we'll trade.

And isn't is AMAZING that a thread about Patton from GWS and McCartin from St Kilda becomes all about the bulldogs bulls#*t.

They just can't let a thread that mentions us go without trying to s#*t on the carpet.
BAD DOG!!

You missed this part which started the whole conversation:

Us: We want your contracted captain
