Isn't Daniher your main key forward though? Jonny P is our second forward who also spends time in the ruck and down back in defence pretty much every quarter. Not really there for comparison. They play a completely different role.
Love how these threads descend into a pi$$ing contest though. Someone says something complimentary about a player from one team and it's "Oh no - you can't say that. You HAVE to acknowledge that the player from MY team is SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!"
There are half a dozen "Isn't Daniher the best full forward EVER" threads on the main board already. Why don't you go post in one of those.

Actually Patton is a better contested mark, more reliable shot at goal, turns it over less and is probably a better bloke too. And this is despite missing the best part of 2 seasons with knee injuries. Patton will be a better player than Joe when judged at the end of their careers IMO

He's a very good young forward. Its hard to know whether he suffers or benefits from having so much competition up forward at the Giants.
He gets the benefit of A grade delivery + easier opponents but the disadvantage of not getting as much ball sent through him.
Its always hard to evaluate players in that situation.
He reminds me a lot of Hawkins.

Not a fan after his interview a few years back after the game where he felt he needed to have a crack back. Thought what a toss. Good on him sticking up for himself but just came across poorly IMHO

Understand that, just my opinion and as a Swans fan probably some bias, but didn't like it. Not my opinion on him as a footballer, please don't get me wrong on that. I'm extremely impressed with his progress this year.
He doesnt get A grade delivery, this is the biggest problem with quite a few of our mids, probably the reason the club felt the need to get Deledio.

Seems a little one dimensional though not offering much more than a strong marking game. Would be interesting to see how he goes playing as the number one tall, playing on the best defenders also.

Consistently playing on best defenders I should say.
I'd be interested to know how you came to that conclusion. Know him well do you? Met him once have you? Never spoken to him at all? Which other GWS players do you know to compare him to?
