Yep, and know because she testified at the grand jury she can’t speak out against the ramseys.
How did that clear her? Her and her husband should have been high up on the list of suspects and investigated more thoroughly.

It's not that she cannot speak about the Ramsays, its that she cannot speak about her testimony to the grand jury specifically. Anything else she can speak about.

The person I was replying to never asked how she was cleared, I do agree they should have been more thoroughly investigated however seems like a few people were ruled out because of the DNA (wrongfully imo)

That’s why I added that she can’t speak out against the Ramsays , someone who believes the Ramsays are guilty isn’t gonna say good things about them.

After listening to that interview I am convinced the murder did not involve any family member. There are a litany of police mistakes in the case with the major one being a one-eyed focus on the family. This is the main issue with many unsolved complex murder cases. Two highly rated detectives concluded there was an intruder and that theory resonates strongest. The single item of evidence that is difficult to explain is the ransom note. It is so crazy it is difficult to think of anyone conceiving it but someone did. If Pasty wrote it then John had to be involved in composing it. But I feel the ransom note is just too lengthy, disassociated, rambling and imprecise for someone to be trying to cover up a crime that has already been committed. It only truly makes sense if it was written before the crime and by someone intending to kidnap. That would have to be a person who entered the Ramsey house well before they got home, found the pad and sharpie, and had significant time to compose and write it.

the grand jury got a better summary of it all than anyone, and they said there was prob cause to indict someone in the family?

I understand the DA didn't proceed as the specific family member was impossible to determine?

not a slam dunk, but best we are ever going to get on this one, imo

What makes you come to this conclusion?
It reads to me EXACTLY like someone trying to provide misdirection.

It's indulgent, fanciful, written by someone with a vivid imagination (a beheading?). Not to be taken seriously on many levels but if a family member wrote a ransom note to cover up a murder why would they be so flowery?

It's simple:

"We have your daughter. If you ever wish to see her alive again you will pay us $500,000. When we know you have the money we will contact you for further instructions. Do not call law enforcement or your daughter will die."

And...if a family member killed JonBenet, why didn't they dispose of the body. The ransom note is erroneous as soon as JonBenet's body is found

Ask the same question of the intruder I suppose?

Why bother sneaking in the house early, ruffling through papers to find what John’s bonus is going to be, then drafting and redrafting a really long ransom note….when you are just going to assault and kill the kid on-site anyway?

Doesn’t make sense

When was the ransom note written should have informed the police of the likelihood or not of an inside job

Why do you assume the perpetrator was going to assault and kill the kid on-site anyway? If there was an intruder it's possible they planned to take JonBenet with them. There was a suitcase propped up in the basement by the broken window that John Ramsey said should not have been there. It can be seen in crime scene video; it's possible the intention was to abduct her by placing her in the suitcase

The problem is that what John Ramsay said about the window is easily disproven by examination of the crime scene.

The crime scene is staged and it is clumsy. Neither John or Patsy killed their daughter.

John’s comments about the DNA evidence do not stand up to scrutiny.

The most alarming issue is the fact that these parents did not cooperate with the investigation. Sure they have the right to silence and not self incriminate but should not be surprised by the consequences of this action.

Patsy couldn't be eliminated as writer of the ransom note. That's too ridiculous a coincidence, that her handwriting is so similar to the intruder.

So you have to start there..but after that, I don't know

If both the parents were involved, I can't see the need to make the 911 call, the ransom note gives you an out for another 24 hours at least.

so that leaves PDI for my guess
