Just saw something on 7 news about him maybe going to Port Adelaide...

I know he moved home for family reasons so I assume that must all be under control now?

If Maric did end up leaving...would we have another crack? Yeah he would be our no.2 ruckman, but I reckon Port would be more keen to get game time into Lobbe and he may be the no.2 ruck there as well!

I guess he's homesick again... sick of home.

Maybe he didn't realise that Fremantle had Sandilands when he asked to get traded back there? Zac Clarke looks like being a fair player too so he'll be on limited opportunities which was highly predictable.

Don't want. Seems like a bit of a princess. How long until he turns around and cries about Jacobs being number 1 ruck and starts seeking a trade to Richmond?

Can't imagine Port wanting a big stick of butter either. Lobbe looks good, build around that.
 
Really though, what could he expect being a ruckmen at the same club as Sandilands?

oh well, good luck to him if he can get a gig as no.1 at a club somewhere. Not with us though.

Lobbe would be pretty pissed though if Port got him. Playing 2nd fiddle to Brogan all this time and then having Griffin brought in to compete with just as Brogan leaves.

Reckon your underrating Lobbe there a bit. Still only 21 has been quite good this year.
 
If it does happen I'll be interested to see what Freo get for him - considering we only received pick 61, I'll be pissed if they receive something of value...
 
I imagine he went there'd thinking he'd be second in line, and he's become third (or even fourth).
 
He should stay at Freo. Sandilands always misses 2-3 games a year, and that figure seems to be increasing with his age now... So Griff will always get a game those weeks. He has played really well in his 7 games for them this season, I'd be very surprised if this was true tbh.

Again, the sub rule has killed him. He is clearly a better ruck than Clarke, but just not nearly as mobile.
