What is a better collective term?

Most of the things described as Nazi or fascist aren’t, so I’m not sure why this term irritates leftists so.

Look I don't really care any more but once upon a time language and not having a stupid population mattered. Use it if you want. I don't care. You could call a cow a horse for all I care and if you do there are some real thoroughbreds stomping around the paddocks outside you can have cheaply.

Those other words - the F/f word and the N/n word - have changed over time. Nazi is one thing nazi is another.

There is definitely a neo Nazi movement and it has a massive influence on the world but really after WW2 so much Nazi thought got imported to the West that its foolish to seperate it from everyday establishment thinking. BTW I don't see a lot of difference between Communism and Nazism. One is a nationalist movement the other isn't. Thats about it.

True. Once upon a time man and woman each had defined meanings, but now they don’t. The “cultural Marxists” are obsessed with language games, changing definitions as it suits them.

That's not actually true, if anything postmodernism and 3/4 20th century philosophy focused on using language properly. In the late 90s this work was actually used by Repubvlicans in the US - like Newt Gaingridge (or whatever his name is) for example - if you look at the way politicians, especially Gop/Aus Liberal politicians use language these days its right out of his playbook and it changes the way politics works. Its highly manipulative but wouldn't be with an edumacated population.

How can it not be true if you argue cultural Marxism is not a thing? For language games not to be cultural Marxism, cultural Marxism must exist.

Marx called for the abolition of the family as a means of achieving revolution. What is this if not “cultural”?
Soft Downhill Skier is this Cultural Marxism or not?

Arguably the most infamous demand of The Communist Manifesto is the “abolition of the family.” The family, Marx and Engels noted, was where patriarchy and capitalism worked in tandem to produce willing, alienated workers, where women became little more than “instruments of production” for the men who lorded over them. Radical queer politics in the 1960s and ’70s added to their critique of the bourgeois family when activists challenged the heteronormativity of familial relations. That demand, however, has since almost completely vanished from the leftist imaginary.

[W]hen we say we want to abolish the family, we’re not talking about taking away the few relationships and infrastructures of love that we have in this world. Of course the private household and the family are where so many of us get the vast majority of nourishment and solace. The question that family abolition is interested in is whether that’s good enough, whether that’s a good thing—that there is such a scarcity involved. We know that the nuclear private household is where the overwhelming majority of abuse can happen. And then there’s the whole question of what it is for: training us up to be workers, training us to be inhabitants of a binary-gendered and racially stratified system, training us not to be queer.

She wants a radical imagining of the family along Marxist lines. It sounds like a 4 wine convo at 2am but she's probably got a 8 hour a week gig at a uni, so best of luck to her.

The article also states that restructing of family relations along Marxist lines is not part of the left. Do you disagree?

Jordan will be most pleased when news reaches him of another great conservative election victory.

Our continent saved from the postmodern heathen.

Labour cost themselves the election by their flirtation with SJW narratives IMO. It's the main reason I didn't vote for them despite being left leaning on most issues.

Not happy with Franking Credits being gender neutral?

Many intelligent left leaning voters like yourself came to the same realisation you did.

It's one thing to live in an internet fantasy land of gay wedding cakes, throwing of eggs at the patriarchy, and social justice for the downtrodden.

It's quite another to play real life SJW Russian Roulette with the people of Australia.

Commonsense prevailed.

Care to elaborate?

Retirees need their FCs and it's unethical to remove them is about social justice.

Giving people their money back via income taxes is social justice.

Protecting the community via strong borders is social justice.

It's a different branch of social justice, but using 'sjw' as a win now button is lazy.
