Hopefully he sticks to this for his next book rather then trying to tell people how to improve their lives.

With all the talk about women wanting a sensitive and in touch with the feelings man goes against the hard wiring of the subconscious.

Women really want subconsciously is a man who is strong, capable and high status.

I'm just laughing at the irony of a bunch of dudes on a footy forum debating what women want.
But seriously the data indicates women tend to go for someone who earns equal or higher.
Also rich famous men have an abundance of choice.
I guess Peterson's argument is for a functional society you need to avoid mass dispossessed. That comes from rewarding competence and monogamy. Definitely agree his first point his take on relationships can be simplistic but he's arguing more about foundations than a micro level

That's because a lot of Trump's policies while not socialist were certainly protectionist.
Liberal left right politics is over. It's based on form an identity and tribe and conform to their dictates. It's about proving your a better person than your ideas.

There is still a large group that reject all the identity bullsh** as incredibly racist. They just aren’t doing very well in forming political power at the moment As both left and right political parties have been taken over by the extremes.

We are seeing some of that now playing out with young men taking on either more isolationist rejection of that game because of what I believe to be an oversupply of sex, be it cheap easy sex itself or an abundance of pornography, or they are trying to shape themselves into what they think women will allow close to them which takes the form of the hypomascluline (as opposed to hypermasculine) lesser threat male who agrees with her and doesn't pose a sexual threat.

But I assure you, he does. He might have turned himself into a "break in case of emergency" box of sex but he is still there.

I recently had to iron out the patriarchal guilt bullshit that the insane aspects of contemporary feminism had imprinted on a bright young bloke. He was totally unaware that it was a subjugation power play. Patriarchy? I had to point out to him that it's the thing radical women want to absorb & control.
