You just don’t notice when I post positives, I come and go but hardly drawn to this forum unless it’s to defend one of unfairly maligned players like JDG and Cox.

Matter of fact most of my posts recently have been after victories, but hey don’t let facts get in the way of your rubbish.

I'd like to see some of your posts celebrating the club's wins but I honestly haven't noticed them. They must be far fewer than your many posts following a loss. After the Freo, Carlton and Melbourne games I pretty much read the whole post match threads looking for contributions from the likes of you and other Negative Nellie's on this forum but can't recall seeing any.

I have always stood proud of Collingwood, rebuffed opposition supporters when needled or provoked , in the 52 years of supporting this club I could identify with , as it aligned with what I believed in , a fair go for all , not be pushed around by wanna be bullies , stand strong in the face of adversity, stand by your mates when they are down , pick them up when required , hold true to your ethos and principles. From the moment the fake DeGoey news hit , I have seen nothing of the above from the club I love , Pathetic Collingwood

Absolutely pathetic, Collingwood. They have grovelled and still the media continues to attack the club and the players involved in this massive beat up.

Who is the genius behind this cringing hostage like apologies which have been written in the back office by some faceless official and handed to the boys two minutes before they read them

It is all so ridiculous and meaningless. Don't ever apologize if you haven't done anything wrong. Simple.

Some are defending the apology on the grounds of appeasing the sponsors. F the sponsors. If no wrong was done you don't offer a phoney apology in order to please your overlords unless you are spineless weeds with no personal values.

First game I'm not watching this year, membership is on a thread. I know Jords ain't perfect but other then sticking up for his mate in NY (Most of us would have done the same) he has been pretty good & making strides with community and him self ( Didn't even look pissed in Bali ). If there are also mental health reasons around this, we needed to do way better then let the 30 articles go over the weekend then smash him publicly yesterday.

Won't be surprised if he leaves, hope he stays.

I know the pressure would be intense but it stuns me to see how many men willingly follow the advice of their managers or clubs and read groveling apologies for things they clearly don't believe we're malicious, disrespectful or harmful.
I'd tell them to shove their apology. If they sack me for not playing their game which is simply about money and keeping the media on side then that's on them. At least I'd sleep at night.

The media? Yep, but no surprise there. Murdoch sludge like Robinson, and those pressured to compete with his level of fake outrage to please their bosses.

The club? To an extent, but how many chances does De Goey get to be half-sensible? A bit of tough love is not out of place at this point, is it? And they haven't exactly thrown the book at him.

His brother-in-law? Yeah, well, maybe he's not cut out for being much more than an enabler.

To be honest, I wasn't that concerned by the footage after the woman made light of it.

It did occur to me that he should've kept his head down until his contract was signed & he'd put more distance between himself and the NYC incident. But, if he was up for the notoriety, hey, who am I to argue? If not, stay out of the interwebs.

In any case, if he'd come back on time, brushed off the attention with a fake glum look, and switched back on to the team & footy, fair play, you larrikin.

So, blame whoever you like as much as you like.

Ultimately, I'm really pissed off with JDG for being so predictable, and not having the combination of brains & balls to be playing against GWS at the start of the run home.

De Goey seemingly officially out of the match this week. Also said on the news that he was meant to do a video apology today. Looks like he is pissed off with the club and staying away.

Are we in the business of winning Premierships or Social Justice Causes. I would like the Club to make a statement explaining that tomorrow. As this is just about the last straw. We the supporters have had to endure countless acts of stupid over the course of many decades. We seem to find new ways to F$&@k ourselves over.

In a season where teams are falling over and where a chance has opened up for us to quite unexpectedly challenge for a flag, as unlikely as it may have seemed 8 weeks ago.

We……don’t stand our ground. We….don’t stand by our players. We…..allow all the external noise to take our focus off the only thing we exist for. Winning a Premiership.

What’s it all for. Why are we paying our memberships. If everyone involved is not serious about winning Premierships. Then why should We be serious about supporting this shit.

Are we going to put yet another season to bed and expect us to put our focus onto the AFLW team now. Or maybe the Netballer’s. I know, we need a Basketball team next and maybe they can follow that with an NRL team also. Or maybe the Do Better Be Better F$&@KWits can find an Social Justice Cause to distracts us with and waste more of our focus off the ONLY thing that really matters.

WINNING PREMIERSHIPS.

I really don’t give a F$&@k if DeGoey is at the club next year. That’s the clubs decision to make. But to sabotage our current opportunity. That’s unforgivable. Chances of winning Premierships doesn’t happen all the time. And when your given an opportunity you have to be in the best position to take it. Now if we were to get some injuries and dropped form. Then that’s what happens. But we have deliberately F$&@ked ourselves her. And that’s unforgivable.

I’ve watched this club for over 50 years. And I can honestly say, it’s this current period, the last few years that’s been the most taxing. Maybe they’re the last straws……..

I would say we are an extraordinarily dumb dumb club. But we are no longer the Collingwood Football Club. We are an Ideology run for the benefit of Ideologues.
