would love to see the crows draft him. 208cm giant who can move around the groud farily well for his size and has got some skill. and the best part is he has that basketball back ground that seems to be so succesfull in many players i.e.tippet, brogan, pendlebry.

would be a great pick up especially if, god forbid, either griffo or ivan want to go home in future years.

wat are ur thoughts on him

Hopefully he gets a chance in the North seniors this week and so I will be able to tell you. North has the orst rucks in the SANFL so he should be a fair chance.

There was no chance of that happening, last week was his first game of footy for about 4 years or so, he's named on the bench for the ressies this week. Hopefully he can show something in the next few weeks and get a game in the As, he's huge though.

He played 1 game at our club (Flinders Park) before he played for North last week and did pretty well. Played in our A's and kicked a couple but it's only div 3 i guess. We were having shots and he was bombing them from outside 50 with ease, missing now and again but you get that when you've had 4 years off footy. Once he conditions his body to football standards and remembers how to play the game i'm pretty confident he can succeed :thumbsu:

In the U18s he looked overweight. Quite tubby and just looked like a tall log out there. Got smashed in the ruck. Depends how much hes improved...but you wouldnt pick him up just because hes tall and has a basketball background. Everyone was tooting Illmans horn a few years back but he never amounted to anything special.

I don't know about that...

Has anyone else noticed that as far as good ruckmen go in the AFL... it's thin on the ground.

AFC is bloody bloody lucky to have Griff, Maric, Ktipp and Moran.

Dodman will be a shoe-in if he shows... well, just about anything.
