This kid is a gem.......going through his stats on footydraft.com this kid racked up 85 possesions in 2 games and averaged over 30 possesions a game. This kid obviously looks like a real ball magnet and although i havn't seen him play i rekon the team that takes him could be rewarded very handsomely......being a tiger supporter a hope he comes 2 punt rd but i also know that terry wallace and greg miller speak very highly of him. Has any1 seen him play??? i'd like to know wat he's like week in week out.

Why do you regard a player you haven't seen as a gem ?

Lewis is a good prospect and I compare him to Beau Waters. He does get a lot of the ball and is a hard at it type. He can also play in the midfield or in defence. He does tend to give away some silly free kicks but he should be highly regarded but any team looking to draft a strong bodied midfielder.

Soft name. Hopefully that prevents any other club picking him up and the tigers get this hard nut at 16

Good player with good footy smarts and thinks quickly but isnt that quick over the ground and when I saw him play he didnt chase and looked lazy.
Likes to kicks goals in a stewie dew type fashion and I think would play a similar position at senior level.
Bit of a U18 bully who can use his body on smaller opponents but wont have that luxury when playing against grown men.
Phantom drafts have him at about pick 20 and above which would be about right. I think the fact he is a ready made with his size might interest a few recruiters and he may well play a few senior games next year.
My view is that he would be a good pickup but may need a kick up the arse to learn some defensive skills and need a firm hand to guide him as he seemed to ponce around and have a bit of attitude like he didnt have to bother chasing or do the 1%'s.

i have only seen lewis afew times but i agree with that comparision. interestingly they are both basically the same age. just that waters was taken first round last year, and lewis was overlooked. im not sure about lewis, but from what i have gathered lewis is a midfielder first, and flanker second. at the moment beau is a flanker who drifts up the ground. despite beau's good endurance time at last years draft camp, i think he is quite far off playing full games in the midfield. even tho in something like 6 of the 10 games he started the game in the centre square and then moved to HBF after the bounce. would lewis be able to handle the midfield run/speed needed in the afl??

Ths kid is a freak. He kicked a goal hugged on the boundary check sided under a heap of pressure and was being tackled about 30-40m out and kicked a goal. STRAIGHT THROUGH THE MIDDLE IN FACT

The lack of real pace is something that a number of players get around. Lewis isn't the quickest guy going around however, I don't think it's going to stop him being drafted in the 1st round.

I'd love him at Melbourne.

We could get him at pick 13 or 15 if things go our way.

Imagine Sylvia, McLean, Bell, Moloney and Lewis in the same midfield.

From the description, he sounds a bit like Paul Licuria in his aerobic ability: not the fastest bloke, but he runs all day.

Given that, it's possible that he could become a fourth quarter performer, as players may be able to out-run him at the start of the game, but towards the end, he can still be going at full capacity.

You'll have a midfield like Hawthorn or Collingwood. Plenty of fat-arse extractors but no speed or silk.

Yeah, as opposed to the Bulldogs who have all skinny twig like recievers with no one to get the ball to them!

Very classy footballer. Strong mark, beautiful kick on either side of the body and very strong in and around the packs. Collected 30 posessions in the Hampden League Grand Final and was the only player on the field that kept Warrnambool in the game against Terang/Mortlake. Will be a very good player when he gets drafted because he is committed in what he does with football, doing everything in his right to be the best player that he can be. Watch out for him in the future.

Starting to hear a few whispers that this is the kid Collingwood have in mind with pick 10. He was going to be selected at pick 7. As a part of the deal that saw 7 go to Hawthorn, the hawks undertook not to draft him (draft tampering??).
I understand if he is still there at 10, which is highly likely as Adelaide and Carlton have other players in mind, Collingwood will take him.
I guess we will see.

Jordan Lewis cleaned up DeLuca with a hip and shoulder at the nationals.

I think the response was aimed towards the "bullying of smaller players" comments
