Jordan McMahon

Aside from ruckmen, we have every 'type' of player in abundance - but not that many of them are good enough.

Crap... we have a massive dearth of KPP's

- We have 1 Key Foward: Richo
- We have 2 developing Key Fowards: Riewoldt, Schultz
- We have 1 key back, if you count J Bowden
- We have 3 developing key backs in McGuane, Thursty and Polak
- We have 3 or 4 clearance midfielders with another 1 developing

...but hey on the up side we have about 30 outside receivers:thumbsu:

If Jordan McMohan comes to the club, we can have 31. :thumbsd:

If we get McMahon and get rid of Schulz, I'm lost. I've had enough. Where are we going with anything and everything.

We are like a lolly bag you get after a birthday party. Theres 2 or 3 good lollies but all in all, its cheap shit from the supermarket.

nothing wrong with jordi, hed be good for the club and hes in the age bracket that we lack, pick 19 for him is worthwhile, not sure abt the 330k a year though...:o

You miss the point I was making RG, which was that none of the HBF's we have are any good at setting up the play, and they're not great defenders either.

Is playing McMahon across half back a significant upgrade on Raines? Yes.

Just like playing Mitch Morton on a wing is a big upgrade on Howat.

For a couple of picks (or direct player swaps) where in this draft we'd likely get another couple of ordinary, flawed players, we get two blokes who we know can make a significant difference to our skill level straight away and still be around during our premiership window, plus still get to add a couple of better prospects with our early picks.

If we get McMahon and get rid of Schulz, I'm lost. I've had enough. Where are we going with anything and everything.

I wouldn't be thrilled to lose Schulz either rfc, but the fact is he wouldn't be up for trade if he'd committed to the club and to working harder next year as he was asked to earlier in the week. He was given the choice between getting his act together with us or trying it at another club...it seems he's made his choice.

We've got a stack of cap room with the departures of this year Tony, may as well front end a bloke like McMahon and leave ourselves plenty to allocate better money to the younger blokes over the next couple.

Is this the same Jordan McMahon that couldn't get a game this year (if my memory serves me correctly) with the Bulldogs even when they were struggling in the 2nd half of the season?

No wonder we've been in he duldrums for 20years.

Richmond people are terrible judges of talent/what it takes to make a footy team.

McMahon is
1. Lazy. He's not fully committed to AFL.
2. Pretty boy.
3. Can't put on weight. Tried/was too lazy. He just can't.
4. Gets killed by his opponents because he's so small.

Raines > McMahon.

His wife and kid went back to Adelaide OMH...knocked him about lot apparently.

We'd judge him on his 2006 form which was pretty good.

yeh when he was running forward hoping like hell west and cross would win the clearance to make himself look good, when the ball wasnt coming out as easily this year and he had to go and get it himself he got found out for the receiver he is

nevermind getting pantsed on a number of occasions cause he cant defend for shit also

great pickup:rolleyes:
