I found myself thinking our backline looks and feels so much safer with this bloke down there. Him and Darcy I think have to be in the discussion of the best 1&2 KPD duo in the AFL, add Howe/Crisp/Maynard/Langdon and Shaz, and that is a backline that isn't going to get beaten to often.

Totally agree but would be good to have Keane, Kelly show something this year & a Leon Davis type come through to round it off.

Sounds like Keane has shown a fair bit as a lock down KPD and I wonder if Atu could become a quality small defender.

I'll be interested to see where Kelly lines up during pre season games and in training this year.

Saved us from what?
He was there as a regular over 22 matches when we suffered backline injuries yet again.

He was our best defender in 2019.

Howe was pretty good but missed.

Darcy's best was like a high leaping horse and exciting but Roughie was the steadying force and reliable.

I think that we would have been stuffed without Roughy.

Howe was better last year than in 2018 but still got injured and got towelled up by Cameron against the Giants.

IIRC Roughy only had the 1 hiccup and that was when he got concussed against the Tigers but stayed on the ground.

Moore seems to get spoken about as a horse a lot.

That’s what he was recruited for. He’s not a super hero.

When I’m down to my socks it’s time for business that’s why they call them business socks🎵

Big call. Personally, I'd have him behind all of Crisp, Maynard and Howe (I think the Copeland voting also showed that) and it's only his durability that has him in the same discussion as Moore.

You go to town on people who criticise the club or anyone involved that doesn't suit your agenda, and then you make light of someone emphasising just how good Jordan Roughead was for us last year (which he was).

Pick a side man. Come on, you're starting to lose it!

He was very good. I’m happy we recruited him.
