Which is why I wanted us to keep him as injuries are always likely.with keane injured for the start of the year he will at least get to start the season in the seniors to push his case more
Probably the latterHas the chance now to secure himself a spot or to sell himself to prospective buyers.

I have heard Western Bulldogs with him.Probably the latter
Less of a need with Buku now. With Butters on the books next year, I doubt we can offer what other clubs will, or that he will even leave Adelaide getting consistent game time.He was injured during the latter half of last season. Don't know if Dogs come knocking again. With Butters. He's 1 of the few options dogs can get without having to give up draft picks.
Lobb is close to declining. His last game he was making poor decisions. If Dogs get another key back I would expect to see him moved to a mobile tall that covers all 3 facets of the ground.Less of a need with Buku now. With Butters on the books next year, I doubt we can offer what other clubs will, or that he will even leave Adelaide getting consistent game time.
May have another crack at Mark Keane though?
Despite the broken leg, Keane (contracted) would still cost a first round pick.Less of a need with Buku now. With Butters on the books next year, I doubt we can offer what other clubs will, or that he will even leave Adelaide getting consistent game time.

He’s gonna turn into a Ben McKay bidding war I reckon . Will go for huge money/contract. Key defender tax
Maybe. He will get some bonus money for being a KPD but I think most teams learned a lesson form Essendon with McKay.
Battle received a fair sumAlso, it's the wrong type of player. The KPD's that have attracted those kind of bidding wars aren't the dour shutdown types, but those who generate a lot of intercepts (something McKay fit the bill with).
Battle received a fair sum
Everyone wants to see Pink Butts on a team sheet.Extremely disappointed with the lack of puns in this one guys. Some examples:
"North coming hard for Butts"
"Crows went Keane for Butts, to their undoing"
"Nicks keen to hold onto Butts"
Etc
Come on guys it's not hard
Now THIS is contentEveryone wants to see Pink Butts on a team sheet.
And Riley Hardeman (actual nickname: Stiffy) completes our 2027 FB line with aplomb.
