North Melbourne would be a decent location for him, gets the second best defender behind Ben Brown.
Could see he getting 40-45 snags to Browns 60-65 if Norths mids can kick it in.
Being better than a forward at Carlton does not necessarily mean you are worth more than a 3rd round pick (or even AFL standard for that matter).Lol, as if. Prior to this year, which was an injury write-off, he kicked more goals than anyone at Carlton in each of the previous 3 seasons. Including by 16 goals in 2016 (38 to 22) and 19 in 2015 (50 to 31).
He also kicked more goals in any of those 3 seasons than anyone kicked at Carlton again this year.
When you've got someone who plays key forward and is good for approx 40 goals a year and who was in a clubs leadership group by 25yo, they're worth a lot more than a 3rd!

Just had a kid so I doubt he will entertain an interstate move. Want to keep the Mayor of Canberra but surely we can’t have him, McCartin, Membrey, Battle and Marshall all playing regular senior footy in the same forward line.
Maybe that's our cunning plan to deal with the new 6-6-6 setup. Get ball, roost it into the forward line and hope it doesn't hit the ground.Just had a kid so I doubt he will entertain an interstate move. I actually see them as a team that would give him the best opportunity to get right back to his 50 goal type best, as they actually let and even encourage their tall marking targets to lead up to the ball, which suits Bruce much more than our bang-it-long-and-high-on-his-head approach, which gives him much less chance of marking it.Was thinking the same. Would be a decent Waite replacement for North too while they are bolstering their list with mid 20s players
have little trade currency thoughNorth Melbourne would be a decent location for him, gets the second best defender behind Ben Brown.
