Narkle dropped

Graham 2nd game back from shoulder dislocation and played decent

Caddy another 4 goals, 43 for the year

Josh Caddy in the AA squad of 40.

Not bad for someone who wouldn't get a game if he had stayed at Geelong.

Geelong’s culture didn’t get the best out of Caddy, that’s the reality.

He won’t be the only player held back by Geelong’s culture, which is why they are unlikely to win a premiership soon.

Compare Caddy's game on Thursday night to Parfitt's game tonight. Chalk and cheese.

I wonder if there will be any Geelong supporters still trying to tell us that Parfitt is the better player, and that Caddy wouldn't get a game in their team.

Parfitt at his peak (age 25-29, 2023-2027) will likely be the better player, and Caddy probably wouldn't be getting a game for Geelong as a midfielder, and you'd question whether they would have tried him up forward, and whether he'd have had the same success in that role for the Cats.

Also, Graham, while a hard worker, looks a bit vanilla, while Narkle has shades of Ablett Jnr in his movement and creativity. Like Parfitt, both are years away from being the finished product and even entering their primes as footballers, too.

I'm sure both clubs are happy with who they have.

A low ceiling footballer? Based on what? Performing in big games. Being a two way runner? Being strong in he contest? Being a great kick?

I would suggest Narkle is a massive chance to be delisted in a few years or make it as a mediocre player. Parfitt looks a player but could easily become the next Motlop.

Caddy has made an AA 40 and Graham polled Norm Smith votes. Not bad for a guy not good enough to be in a team easily eliminated in week one and a low ceiling footballer.

The Richmond bias is obscene when it comes to Graham. A lot of very average players have played well in grand finals, Graham is slow and doesn't win enough of the ball.

Supporters of premiership team rate premiership player who not only shut down opponent's best mid in grand final but kicked 3 goals on him! Shock horror!

Graham has had injury issues severely limiting his first season and considerably impacting his second. He is a defensive midfielder who averages 14.2 disposals and 6.4 tackles, Parfitt is an offensive mid who averages 15.9 and 4.0. Graham averages more clearances and has better disposal efficiency. He's a proven finals performer already, and Parfitt is so far a finals failure.

As Clarko said Thursday night, all successful clubs have a "system" a system thats hard to crack, and pressure is one of Richmonds main keys in that system, and 20 year old Jack Graham is by far our number one pressure player. Ranked 4th in the league, has the highest individual pressure ranking out of all players, and the only player this year to crack the ton, ranked 14th for tackles (6.5 per game) so he doesnt need to rack up possessions to be the best at "his role" in a successful side thats odds-on for back to back premierships.

You don’t understand his role.

Thats because he's just having fun troling. Funny lot melb supporters, make the finals for the first time in 19 years and the cockiness of the last few days is hilarious.
schmuttt is a good egg, but he’s wrong about Graham.

As a Tiger supporter its refreshing to finally have draft picks and trades go our way after 30+ years of shitness and mismanagement. Cats say they are happy with the trade but this ones not even close.

Maybe Caddy will be like to us as Ottens was for them?

Fair to say Caddy probably has probably surpassed Craig Biddiscombe and Kent Kingsley as the best ex Geelong player at Richmond. :D

Is 2nd to the ball because he is a plodder so chases a lot, wears yellow and black therefore he is a gun.

hahaha clueless

in the games that we have had mids out and he has been asked to find more of the ball, he has done so with ease

winning the pill is not his role when our best 22 is fit and firing

we are a low possession team as it is, even dusty only averages just under 26 a game (could easily average 32+ in a higher possession team)

Parfitt and Narkle. Narkle isn't that special, but Parfitt will end up being the best of this bunch quite easily.

love these comments, since you can see into the future can you pls let me know how the rest of the finals are gonna pan out?

Even Richmond fans starting to question whether Graham actually can improve at all from here on their board after Friday night...

Saying Graham is a battler is trolling and makes me cocky? Mate if we were Carlton this year it wouldn't change my opinion.

Parfitt is well ahead of both Caddy and Graham now.

Not sure where Narkle is at but anything he does is a bonus.

Geelong definitely the winners of this trade.

We offloaded Caddy and it flourished at their club. Strikingly similar to the Mayne trade.

Caddy has been good for Richmond but we'd take Parfitt of the two. Jack Graham wouldn't get a game in the hoops
