Could be the diagonal stripe? The hoops make you look fat!

That's actually a fair point. Hadn't thought of that.

Says a lot about Geelong's substandard developmental pathway. He moved to Richmond and became an A grader with a bright future.

He's not even close to being an A grader.

Don't worry, bro, we can grieve together. I still haven't gotten over losing Bad Ebert.

This never takes long.

Take a solid role player, add a Premiership medallion, and all of a sudden he becomes massively overrated.

Josh is a good player, he had a good year, probably not his best year, but close. Richmond obviously are very happy with this trade, Geelong would be too. Caddy isn't a "missing piece" type player, he's a nice complementary piece when everything else is working well.

Yep - remember people were saying similar things about Will Langford and Taylor Duryea a few years ago.

This could be a turning point for Caddy but let's reserve judgement for a while. Same with Prestia - it was Richmond supporters only a few months ago crucifying their recruiters for trading him in.

Wasn't he arguably one of Richmond's worst player on the day?...

He's pretty ordinary

I'm in shock that he still gets a game...... he is the modern day Mark Blake

He's a ******* spud. You can put a premiership medal on him but he's still a spud.
He had a good enough game in the GF, didn't rack it up in huge numbers, but he went at 83% DE, equal with only Dustin Martin in the tigers side, he is hardly a spud.

LOL.

Caddy is now a premiership player.

Have some respect.
lol. Disprove the assertion.
P.S. Shannon Byrnes is a two time premiership player so "is now a premiership player" means sweet **** all

Caddy us great. Always bobs up for a goal when we need.
A pretty good contested mark aswell, brings the ball to ground and strongly buolt.. Exactly the player we need when we only have 1 tall.

won't bother, watch the tape and work it out.

Caddy was critical to the tigers
Cool. He was good for the Tigers.
It didn't disprove anything though did it, we replaced his role with a superior player.

Both clubs happy with the trade then.

I didn't realise until this year what a horrible kick for goal he is. Good on him and good on Richmond, it seems they have gotten what they required out of him. We were all hoping he would step up and become an A grader but it never happened and probably never will happen. Mitch Duncan and Caddy seemed to be at the same stage in their development when Caddy joined the club but Mitch went past Caddy, when Mitch broke his leg last year we needed Caddy to step up but he just couldn't. Hopefully it ends up being 1 of those trades that is win win.
