Pretty much. It will be interesting to see whether the AFL give the saints band 1 or band 2 compo. As far as I know its based on age/length of contract/amount per year.

Given that Essendon are apparently offering 4 years @ 700k for a 27 year old, there's a good chance it will be classed as band 1.

Good looking, fit young lad, will adapt well to the culture at North. I just think culture is so important when you're looking at list management. Am also hearing they're into Stringer from the Cats, maybe for big Hamish, and White from the Swans as a replacement for McIntosh.
