swap it to Shy chick, Fat blokeI really, really dislike that analogy. "Fat chick" could be completely awesome, "shy bloke" could be nothing to write home about on any level. Can we think of something better?

Trade radio reckons the compo pick was tabled and knocked back as insufficient.Reckon Geelong want to hang onto the compo pick because they intend to hit next year in the attempt to get a last flag while Chappy, Bartel et all still around.
The year after, they'll go a West Coast style one year tank and use the compo then, maybe get two top 10 picks in the same draft.
Apparently Geelongs pick not enough

Theyre obviously trying to play hard ball but will soften once the deadline approaches.
OK then - GC and Caddy could potentially be still standing when the music stops without a chair if they hold out too long.I really, really dislike that analogy. "Fat chick" could be completely awesome, "shy bloke" could be nothing to write home about on any level. Can we think of something better?
But if GC knocked back the compo bid what are they looking for? Compo plus a pick/player? Geelong won't go for that and no other club will offer any better. So where will this leave GC and Caddy at the end of trade week? With nothing. If GC knocked back the compo pick from Geelong, then we have no chance.
Lake to Hawthorn, sheesh
Indeed, the Poster formerly known as Funky. :stern lookIf we get him, we've added another vital piece to our premiership push.
If we don't, he's proven nothing and Ziebell/Cunnington will be better anyway.
Amirite?

Just on Ch10. GC wants two first round picks for Caddy!!
Not worth it.Just on Ch10. GC wants two first round picks for Caddy!!

Simply making a point to the comp about how hard they will make it for clubs to take their players. The AFL have mediators in place for situations such as this because there is no way known that Caddy is worth two first round picks. If that is the case then Ziebell is worth 4 top 10 picks.Just on Ch10. GC wants two first round picks for Caddy!!
They can't be serious. Most I would offer is pick 14 + 35 or 36 (If that's all we get from Hmac).Just on Ch10. GC wants two first round picks for Caddy!! Pls tell me I heard wrong....?
Definately not. Caddy needs to come out and nominate his club of choice. Geelong's compo pick is more than fair. Gold Coast will continue to make ridiculous demands while there is interest and they know that he doesn't have a preferred destination. Not worth it.
