Ziebell + Atley + Cunnington = Swallow Jr.
I'm confused, Tef. You've been banging on about how it would take something 'extraordinary' for Caddy to not be at North next year. Now apparently that 'extraordinary' happening is Geelong offering him more coin.
Is this your first trade week?
(Someone quote me as I am on ignore).

Pretty clear H2B/Tef is old school.
They may want a pick this year to pass onto the crows. It will depend on what the crows want, this year or a future pick. If Tippett picks GC the priority pick maybe out of play.

This thread isn't really a threat to the space time continuum.
I derive the following from the pre emanate guide of time travel I speak of course of the back to the future trilogy.
In BTTF2 Doc is in the Delorean in 1955 when it is struck by lightning and it sends him back to 1885. Directly after this Marty receives a hand delivered letter from the Doc from 1885 saying its all good I am cool in 1885 I have hidden the Delorean in a cave find it and go back to 1985.
BTTF3 Marty recovers the Delorean has the Doc (the 1955 version) fix it up and he heads to 1885 to pick up the doc (the 1985 version that is living in 1885) Upon arrival in 1885 Marty hides the Delorean in the same hiding place that he found it, and this is the problem.
If the Doc went back in what we will call Delorean A.
and Marty went back in what we will call Delorean B.
Marty hid Delorean B in the same place that the Doc had hid Delorean A, 2 Deloreans same time same place, same Delorean.
If the above can happen and the space time continuum was fine this thread is nothing to worry about.

Melbourne, Fremantle and possibly the Brisbane Lions and Geelong, are likely to focus on pick No.2, which would be used to select WA key forward Jesse Hogan or classy Victorian midfielder Josh Kelly.
Sources have suggested the Demons, Fremantle and the Lions would select Hogan with pick No.2, while Geelong's interest was around Kelly.
If it remains interested in the mini-draft, Geelong would be expected to deal its first-round compensation pick received for the loss of Gary Ablett, which is yet to be activated.
The Lions hold pick No.8 in the draft, while Fremantle, who currently enters the draft at pick No.16, would need to package players with its first selection, with the Giants seeking a ruckman and strong-bodied key defender.
Dogs, using picks 5/6 and getting one back from GWS.So who would be dealing for that first pick in the mini draft?
Yes, I believe so. Pykie was big wraps for Jesse Hogan too, iirc. And is Josh Kelly the son of the ex-North player?

Like the way this is unravelling. If Geelong use their compo pick in the mini-draft, our pick trumps theirs for Caddy fwiw. If they don't, and we happened to be interested in the likes of Hogan or Kelly, then if Freo's first pick plus player is in the running, something similar from us would be too. (Pick 14 plus ??)?
I believe so, but Phil didn't play enough games.
Meaning they get Caddy, Kelly (both North connectedMy guess is they are confident that Caddy would prefer to go to Geelong, so they can just offer their first rounder which is essentially the same as ours.
