Gold Coast Suns are required to reduce their senior list from 46 to 42 this off season. They have already confirmed Josh Fraser's retirement along with Nathan Krakouer, who they released from contract last December so they need to cut 2 others in addition to the equivalent number of draft selections they intend to utilise. For this reason, I can't see them accepting a fringe player like Keys and a draft pick in exchange for Caddy as that means they are getting two for one, which means more of their prized young players they will have to let go.

Yeah, no surprise there.

Saul played with North Heidelberg for many years.

Some of them included time with Shane Harvey.

Boomer himself was supporting Shane a few weeks back at his local grand final.

If he has chosen North then I honestly think you will need that compo pick.

Might make the HMAC trade easier as well. North trades Pick 14 and HMAC for Geelong's Compo Pick and pick 36.

North then use the compo pick to get Caddy.
