Josh Caddy can't wait for the AFL draft.

Josh Caddy could be on the way to the Gold Coast at today's draft.
.......................
The prospect excites him. ''If you go there, you'll sort of be part of history,'' said Caddy, whose grandfather, John Reeves, played 110 games for North Melbourne, the club he grew up barracking for. His uncle played there, too, and his older brother Saul spent a small amount of time on the Richmond supplementary list.
......................
It's something he has wanted since he was little, too. Josh's brothers, Saul and Jonathan, were 12 and 13 years older than him, so he grew up kicking footballs and bouncing basketballs, happy to placidly follow them everywhere but also with a competitive streak. He hated watching North Melbourne lose and other parents wanted him banned from Auskick as a seven-year-old because he was desperate to lay tackles, which weren't allowed. ''He'd come home and say how unfair it was,'' remembered Joanne.
Tonight, Josh will find out which team wants him. He's done extra training sessions this year, switched schools to study closer to home and cut down his travel time. Being captain, said Adrian, helped him focus on more than his own intensity.
As soon as his name is called out, Caddy will be itching to get there and start doing it all for his new team.
''I have no idea what's going to happen. The clubs don't tell you anything when they interview you, but it's been lingering for a long time,'' he said.

trading levi + pick 14 is good thats fine....
I've lost my chubby now. With all these rumours going around about caddy choosing north, I was hoping a major newspaper might have something to say in their papers, but nothing, not even a bite. I might have to settle myself down here and not get caught up in these rumours. Don't want to end up to disappointed
Just a thought. If swans need something extra for Tippett maybe pick 14 for Rowan may be to their liking. A speed machine who would add more to our list than caddy in my opinion. Also I am tiring of all the Caddy "show stuff". Just decide and we can all get on with it.Agreed. I think he opened up the Geel and st.k options to basically give GC options if north screwed around with GC. If so, top kid.
Might want to give that advice to some of your brethren on the Geelong board. Very amusing reading over there at times.Don't count your chickens before they hatch fellas, don't want to be disappointed.
Got some info on the Caddy Shack yesterday, I'll write it here later today.
Making you all wait because I like building the suspense and I have work.
Usually in the area of Data transfer mainly. What sort of work does a 5gb USB stick do?
Am I missing something here? What is so good about this kid that would make us part with our first pick? He played every game and came 17th in cold toasts b&f..
Not breaking into the top 10 of that team is a damning stat. I'd rather take our chances with our first pick. Maybe a second pick would be more appropriate.
Where do you reckon Ben Cunnington came in last years best and fairest?

According to Emma Quayle, no deal or trade set up with GC and North as of yesterday.
I imagine GC would have asked Josh to nominate his preference/s by today ro tomorrow, surely? Whatever clubs are involved need to be able to get on with it.
