Reckon Geelong want to hang onto the compo pick because they intend to hit next year in the attempt to get a last flag while Chappy, Bartel et all still around.

The year after, they'll go a West Coast style one year tank and use the compo then, maybe get two top 10 picks in the same draft.

Trade radio reckons the compo pick was tabled and knocked back as insufficient.

This is purely hypothetical and assuming that Hansen ends up requesting a trade and is willing to go to Gold Coast. I'm also assuming that Gold Coast giving up one more player than what they receive in return will be a more attractive proposition for them considering they need to shed their list.

It would be very difficult to satisfy the Suns. They need to cut their roster so anything outside of Top 10 picks or Top 10 players won't get them too excited.

I suspect even a swap of our 2nd and their 3rd (along with #14) won't excite them as they may not even use it!

I know some chubbies who are awesome chicks and who are in high demand. Although, there is nothing wrong with the ole beer goggles, I just wish it impaired hearing as much as vision.

Simply making a point to the comp about how hard they will make it for clubs to take their players. The AFL have mediators in place for situations such as this because there is no way known that Caddy is worth two first round picks. If that is the case then Ziebell is worth 4 top 10 picks.

A fair trade will be reached one way or another. It'll just take 3 weeks to happen.

They can't be serious. Most I would offer is pick 14 + 35 or 36 (If that's all we get from Hmac).

Definately not. Caddy needs to come out and nominate his club of choice. Geelong's compo pick is more than fair. Gold Coast will continue to make ridiculous demands while there is interest and they know that he doesn't have a preferred destination.
