Josh Carr Breached Quarantine

Pathetic.

If it was one little **** up, ala Walker thats acceptable. Three however is just showing he isn't taking it seriously.

Probably the end of his chances to get a head coaching job in the near future.

Yep, Walker is quite young and self-reported after taking his dog for a walk. I could easily be convinced he thought dog walking was a legitimate form of lockdown exercise (since it is in some jurisdictions).

Carr is a leader within the club, a mature man, who got busted by the police. Breaking quarantine pushed Hogan over the edge with us last year (my speculation).

For mine this is a sackable offence.

Makes one shake their head in wonder.
I thought that coaches were supposed to set a good example for all at the club.:mad::mad:

yeah Walker’s mistake while frustrating, is far more believable to be just an honest mistake especially given he self reported on the day. cannot even come close to saying the same on Carr, for one of the most senior figures in the club to do it three times. Completely agree, this is easily a sackable offence

Three times? Massive eye roll. And this isn‘t just about Freo, ffs. The whole league needs to be able to negotiate in good faith with the state governments. I don’t normally love the cries to ’sack ‘em!’ but it’s understandable here…

I don't think it was three separate occasions, they visited and he wasn't there. He probably then got pinged for going 3 different places.

ah, but still so stupid. You may not like the rules, but they are the rules that are allowing the club to continue. And for the league to negotiate certain exemptions. If Carr didn’t like them, he could have stepped aside like Conca. And when you are a coach, you can’t f*** this stuff up.

I did hear a vague rumour that JL and Carr don’t really see eye to eye. Not sure who’s decision it was to appoint him. In any case I don’t think this incident will have endeared JL to Carr any further…

I can’t see the AFL taking too favorably to this. Considering how much money it’s costing them with private planes and quarantine resorts, and players being weeks away from their families, to have one of the coaching staff put it all in jeopardy is unbelievable really.
