First White now Chick. I wonder if they let Chick choose the penalty activation points as well - since he's obviously the only one who saw the incident. The eagles are really showing their class after we kept quiet about how 211 mysteriously broke his jaw last year behind play.

If there's no footage and the ump didn't see it we have to appeal. After all players aren't allowed to testify anymore. Or is that another rule that doesn't apply to Freo?

Like estibador, I seem to remember from last season that the tribunal made a song and dance about not relying on the word of players when it came to dealing with reports. Only the umpires and the video evidence were to be considered, to stop the farce of players covering up for each other.

Given the treatment of Farmer, Dodd and now Carr, have they changed that rule, or have they just decided that it doesn't apply to Fremantle players?

Well, I'm sorry but it was a fair call. Pull them off, and deal with it. I don't care if its Pavlich, pull anybody off if they are going to do the selfish stuff.
Duffield's stuff in the Worst today was spot on. Too many of our blokes are keen to congratulate the flashy, and not the hard behind the scene stuff.

its not that simple because they dont see everything. What if they dragged Solomon last week?He did nothing wrong, johnson round 1.How would they have felt being dragged?Probably angry at the coach more than than themselves

Yet you want us all to believe every word that comes out of Des Headlands mouth!

If Fremantle had of delt with the Selwood case discretely in stead of screaming their version of events to anyone that would listen, I'm sure this wouldn't have come up at all. You reap what you sow.

You've hired the QC that defended kerr.... should be safe if thats all there is to it :/

Im actually surprised it was the chick incident ....Admire Judd more and more these days cause Carr gave him one right in front of us... Judd shown his class once again and did`nt go squealing !!

Always had a bit of time for Chick in the past. Between this report and the Cousins stuff his reputation has taken a bit of a battering as far as I'm concerned.

Everyone seems happy to take Headland's word over Selwood's... :D

The Josh Carr incident has been reported very hush-hush, which is strange. Normally the media would jump all over it.

Can anyone confirm with a link that Chick actually said that Carr punched him. I'm seriously interested to know. The last I heard (on the news last night) Worsfold said WC didn't say anything to the AFL about the Carr incident.

You'll notice that I didn't mention Headland at all in my original post.

Since you ask, no I don't think that the Selwood should face the tribunal based on Headland's claims. But you'd have to accept that West Coast have now given up what fragments of the moral high ground they were previously claiming by engaging in *** for tat dobbing, wouldn't you?

Righto, thanks for clearing that up. It's starting to get a bit pathetic when players start to dob, but anyway ..

Fremantle's decision to pursue Selwood appeared to draw a like-for-like response from the Eagles. Fremantle mid-fielder Josh Carr was unexpectedly on report last night, on a charge of striking West Coast's Daniel Chick during Saturday's encounter.
It is believed that there is no television footage of the incident, nor was it the subject of an umpire's report. Attention was drawn to it by a complaint from the Eagles. Carr has been offered a two-match ban for an early plea or a three-match suspension if he unsuccessfully contests the charge. Similarly, Headland's five-match ban will stretch to six matches if he unsuccessfully challenges the two striking charges laid against him yesterday

WC & Woosh caught out being casual with the truth yet again.
