Floreat Pica, Bitch!
That was my immediate thought; good on you Daics, thinking like a professional.Except Dale Thomas. He goes on surfing holidays first.

Not particularly noteworthy though. Lots of players go in every offseason to have surgeries.Daicos wins GOTY but also apparently had hip surgery yesterday? WTF, what’s with the lack of transparency with the club? Yikes.
Yikes, imagine calling someone a knob for having an opinion on a football forum. Do better.
He didn’t have much competition for it
i didntI thought the goal from the fence 55 out after the siren was also something special
The Cripps one was good, but it was the work out of the centre leading up to the goal that was special, not the goal itself. Had absolutely nothing on a banana from the boundary with two blokes bearing down on you from either side.He didn’t have much competition for it
Thought it was a very down year for the award, probably due to the defensive game stylesThe Cripps one was good, but it was the work out of the centre leading up to the goal that was special, not the goal itself. Had absolutely nothing on a banana from the boundary with two blokes bearing down on you from either side.
Can't imagine how sick he must be getting of the constant references to his dadMagpie son of a gun wins GOTY with 'Daicosian' sealer
Collingwood son of a gun, Josh Daicos, wins the 2020 Rebel Sport Goal of the Yearwww.afl.com.au
That was a great goal. As soon as it left his foot, it never looked like missing. Clutch.I thought the goal from the fence 55 out after the siren was also something special
Just imagine the pressure on him when he starts getting compared to his younger brother!Probably knew it would happen coming into the system. Its unfortunate, but he is forging his own path now. Doesn't help when he kicks goals like that lol

Well it's good thing that Josh was able to establish himself before Nick gets drafted. I think given Josh has already established himself, the pressure would probably be more on Nick now (especially given he's expected to be in no 1 draft pick contention).Just imagine the pressure on him when he starts getting compared to his younger brother!
Well he handles it well, so I imagine by now he's used to it. Would obviously prefer they don't bring his dad up, but I think he's probably made peace with it by now. Can't imagine how sick he must be getting of the constant references to his dad

It was easily the goal of the year.
Whatley on SEN has been moaning about it...

Was it though? There were several fumbles by Crisps and teammates that necessitated extra possessions. Even the ball twirl around his back was born out of a fumble and a desire to retain the footy.he Cripps one was good, but it was the work out of the centre leading up to the goal that was special
Compared to one of the greatest of all time, I'd be happy with those comparisons. Can't imagine how sick he must be getting of the constant references to his dad
Predictable. Same as dickhead Ralph in the Herald. Like clockwork these w***ersIt was easily the goal of the year.
