Imagine what the stats would have been like if he hadn't had a quiet last quarter.
Might've been just about running on empty by then. Still got a few important touches and tackles in. Youre right though, he deserves to be flogged with a cat o nine tales for that last qtr😉😆

"In a seesawing match it was the Bulldogs who stood firm, with emerging midfielder Josh Dunkley achieving an AFL first.

The 22-year became the first player to record at least 35 disposals, 20 contested possessions, 15 tackles and two goals."
Those numbers are off the charts, bonkers

If you ignore his stats, he actually held two very tough contested marks in the last quarter that stopped Melbourne F50 entries.

The boy is seriously tough.

It was a seriously amazing effort. He did it all - rucked, roved, CMs, 15 tackles (next best on field was 7), 24 CPs (next best on field was 15) and kicked 2 set shot goals when everyone else had the yips.

All this while we had one midfielder out for the game and another on reduced duties. He stood up and provided strong leadership when it was most needed. All the while looking nonchalant with not a hair out of place. (Take note, Roarke)

He's the sort of bloke you want beside you at the barricades.

Absolute star. Has even fixed up his goal kicking largely.

The signs were always there but seriously one of our best.

It was a bold move trading that pick 11 for the picks we took Dunks and Collins at and, while Collins didn’t work out, I reckon he’s comfortably worth more than 11 at the trade table now (not that we’d consider trading him).

A worthy recipient of the newly minted and inaugural Bouledogue d'honneur medal.

What a machine! Smashed it today. I have always love his effort and desire just criticised his disposal by foot. He looks to have improved that part of his game. What heart!

Um, yeah, maybe not.
Ha ha ha I’ll wear it. That was as a forward. As a mid, he is a beast, I haven’t stopped telling everyone post game his stats. 22 kicks, 17 handballs, 6 marks, 2 goals, 15 tackles. What a beast, if he keeps playing midfield, he will win a Brownlow. Superstar
