A very good player for the club for a long time and goes outwith nothing but respect from me. Had he been fit in 2009, he would have cracked 200 games for the club and probably would have been one of the triple premiership players (interesting to speculate on what the 2009 grand final team would have been, if Hunt was available). He was able to keep Darren Milburn out of the side for the 2011 finals and I thought he was outstanding in that QF against Hawthorn (seven inside 50s!).

Kicked a good goal at an important time in the 2nd quarter too.

A fine contributor to the Geelong dynasty and two Premiership medals to show for it. A very intelligent man, who got the best out of himself.

All the best for the future Josh.

Josh Hunt was always one of my faves. I loved that penetrating left boot he had as it was lethal at times. I loved how he'd throw his hulking frame around by smashing into opponents with hip 'n shoulders. One of my favourite memories of Josh was when he ran riot one day against the Bulldogs. He absolutely polaxed Jarrad Grant and then half an our later, followed up by cleaning up Gia. Both were totally legal and totally awesome.

Good on ya Fred. If you'd just swallowed your pride and asked way back, hours ago, we'd all know by now. Instead, because you didn't want to ask, it's now almost 5 hours later and we're still none the wiser!! ;)

I'm just as wise, more or less, as I was back then, but no better informed. :D

The Wes Fellows medal is the award I give out each year to the player that best typifies the old adage 'Built like Tarzan, plays like Jane'.

Other previous winners include the likes of Craig Ellis, David Hille and Des Ryan

Is that what Ben Graham done aswell as Saverio Rocca ?

Yep. Good luck to him. I always thought he had punter potential. It's a shame he's going to have to wait until next season to get picked up as the current NFL season is just starting. Hope my Minnesota Vikings give him a chance.
