Manchester United, Juventus,
I'd seriously hope Essendon consider sending our 2017 and 2018 1st rounders the Giants way Josh was interested in heading to Tulla. He can join his mate Zac and mentor Robert Shaw at a developing young club that hopefully is around the mark the next few years. Can guarantee him ANZAC Day, Dreamtime and 18 games a year in Melbourne. As a added bonus no visits to far flung dumps like Alice, Canberra, Tasmania or Geelong :D

And are we seriously expected to believe that North are the only club that have made Kelly one or more significant offers, hence no other offers having been leaked?

Are St Kilda and Carlton, who have the required trade assets and reportedly the most amount of money to spend over the next 3 years (as a result of the new CBA) just sitting on their hands, for instance? o_O
Kelly's management is only talking to North.

You have to recall how long and extensive our interest in Kelly has been.

We tried to trade into the minidraft to get him, we rated him higher than Hogan.

So where was the offers before he re-signed with us previously?

Two late first rounders for Josh Kelly? The same two first rounders your club demanded for Bryce Gibbs? Do you honestly think that Gibbs is worth the same as Kelly?

Ridiculous.
Trade include more, eg like 5 pick upgrades
Answer no Josh is worth more hence the upgrades, bet you didn't bother to read the scenario

Richmond don't know if Dusty is leaving or not. To land a player like Kelly I'd think there would be months of persuading and talks to sell Richmond to Kelly as the team to choose. Or just offer $1.6m if your sure you can't sell the idea of joining the club like North are doing.

If I was Richmond,, I'd have had a word to his management already.

If Dusty can talk to other clubs, then surely we can talk to potential replacements. Sure, any discussions would be 'conditional', but we wouldn't be coming completely out of left field that way.

As for Kelly, if he's getting similar offers from 2 clubs deep into rebuilds and a club that is as young or younger, but is already in the top4, who do you think would be of more interest to him?

I have always posted I thought he would stay a GWS - if he does make a move you could throw a blanket over 6 or 7 teams in Vic.

Not 1 poster on here has a clue what he is thinking or has a clue what his priority is when picking a team to play at next year.

As we saw with Buddy to GWS being a lock anything could happen between now and October. This thread has been full of rubbish posting for a long time now.
Wrong.

Did managers leak your offers to Heeney, Zak Jones, Wayne Milera and Hamish Hartlett too?

C'mon man, there's a common thread here. North play out this stuff in the media to give their supporter base hope in what has been a very frustrating season for them.
Your logic falls down very dramatically in that post.

Someone who has to draw attention to himself isnt as powerful or knowledgable as he wants others to think he is.

For sure with the amount of guesses in this thread someone will be right, but its more a case of pot luck

What more could we offer you then?

Crows first round picks for 2017 & 2018 not sufficient?
Pick 2 will be are starting point - they will want you 2018 1st - but IMO would more likely be this or next years 2nd round.

So 2 & 20 this year or 2 and 20ish next. That would be best case for the blues and a massive win.

Wow.

You really went out on a limb there.

Oh in 2013 we were being assured that it didn't happen, it was just vitamins, that Essendon were too powerful, the AFL would make it go away, Hirdy's legal challenges would get it all thrown out.

Everyone was in La Resistance AFTER the war.

Where has this been said?

Nick Bowen said the other day if Carlton and St Kilda have war chests, North are a Bank.
Tom Brown, Talking Footy, on the night of the new CBA being announced, as I mentioned in this thread on the night and one other time since.

He was on there giving the details of the new CBA and signed off by saying that he was told that based on how the new rises affect each club and their current contracts, Carlton and St Kilda had the most cap space to spend/available over the next 3 year's "by a stretch".

That of course wasn't taking into account hypothetical list changes that might free up substantially more cap space for any of the clubs, it would have just been going by the current contracts as they stand and how they are affected by the SC increases.

Eg. Goldstein is reportedly on $800 or $900K for another two years from memory and he may have the CBA increase clause in his contract, which could take him over a mil PA.

We certainly don't have anyone on anything like that I don't think and I doubt Carlton do either, which would help.

3 way trade with Crows. Try and follow as lot of picks involved.

CROWS RECIEVE;

Bryce Gibbs

Blues 2017 3rd Rd Pick (upgraded Pick)
Blues 2017 4th Rd Pick (upgraded Pick)

Blues 2018 2nd Rd Pick (upgraded Pick)
Blues 2018 3rd Rd Pick (upgraded Pick)
Blues 2018 4th Rd Pick (upgraded Pick)

BLUES RECIEVE;

Josh Kelly

Adelaide 2017 3rd Rd Pick (downgraded pick)
Adelaide 2017 4th Rd Pick (downgraded pick)

Adelaide 2018 2nd Rd Pick (downgraded pick)
Adelaide 2018 3rd Rd Pick (downgraded pick)
Adelaide 2018 4th Rd Pick (downgraded pick)

GIANTS RECIEVE;

Adelaide 2017 First Round Pick
Adelaide 2018 First Round Pick

I mentioned on another thread next 2 drafts for Carlton we have 4 father sons entering the system. 1 this year and 3 in 2018
Liam Hickmott 2017 draft,
Ben Silvagni, Will Hickmott and Oskar Manton in 2018 draft. So why Blues would be willing to give Crows big upgrades to sweaten the deal.

Giants have 2 first round picks too.

GWS Giants.

Out: Kelly, In: 2017+2018 ADELAIDE first round selections.

The scenario looks pretty clear to me big fella.

Carlton don't have a 2nd rounder this year. If he nominates Carlton I could see it being Pick 2+Adelaide's first (for Gibbs) for Kelly+GWS 2nd
