Jay Clark said that he believed his 'sure thing' was that Josh Kelly would sign with north at seasons end as its money can't refuse type stuff and the chance to play at his old mans club would be a huge drawcard. pendlebury then chimed in saying that Kelly is one of his top 5 favourite players in the comp and that despite being widely recognised as an outside player, his inside contested game is always something Collingwood look to mitigate when they play GWS. Interesting comments made by Jay Clark and Scott Pendlebury on the 'Jock and Journo' podcast on the collingwood website. Jay Clark said that he believed his 'sure thing' was that Josh Kelly would sign with north at seasons end as its money can't refuse type stuff and the chance to play at his old mans club would be a huge drawcard. pendlebury then chimed in saying that Kelly is one of his top 5 favourite players in the comp and that despite being widely recognised as an outside player, his inside contested game is always something Collingwood look to mitigate when they play GWS. It's just because of his role within the GWS team that he plays outside mostly, but is equally fine at getting his own ball. Found these comments by both very intriguing
