Question: Can he get to 300?

???

I reckon he goes around again. Less likely if we win it all this year, mind you. Playing out the year plus a couple of finals leaves him on about 15 I think I worked it out to (earlier this week). Very doable. And hasn't been part of the convo at all with Hurn, Gaff and JD.

Good point Dan about winning it this year.

His current form is still top shelf. Would need to contribute at roughly the current level till the end of 2023, to make 300 for WCE. Tough ask, but I expected him to drop off a cliff by now, but he hasn't. Let's hope.

You've forgotten his Carlton games, my good man. Or maybe I misunderstood the question?

Gotta say it must be one hell of a lowkey milestone for him. 9th EAGLE to do so and I haven’t even heard the club mention anything about it.

Small forwards Zac Langdon and Jamaine Jones have also been squeezed out and are emergencies, along with big man Nathan Vardy and Nelson.

One of that quartet will be named medical sub an hour before the 1.20pm bouncedown at Optus Stadium, in what will be champion forward Josh Kennedy’s 250th game in blue and gold.

Fair but it’s hidden in a a random article. Normally clubs make a deal of these milestones.

So so so underrated this bloke is. What an absolute champion of our club. To be blessed to see him run around at 33 doing the things he does after being smashed into for the past 15 years and getting no love from the umpires. It's simply a privilege. Lets enjoy the great man while we still have him fit and playing. Well done Josh.

Absolute Champion.

Also, how good was Mark Lecras? Knee injury robbed him of a brownlow IMO, was an absolute superstar before his ACL.

Josh Kennedy is everything that is good about football - the humble, understated dead-set gun forward who destroys teams but remains popular with opposition players and fans alike. My favourite non-Bulldogs player. I'm sorry for him that Sunday didn't turn out as planned, but Josh will, I'm sure, be happy with his 250 games - it's a great body of work from a much-admired, modest hero. Well played Josh.
