Its 2 goals a game. A handful of games with donuts substituted with some 3-4 goal efforts. My issue with JK is outside of his goals he is having less impact on the game itself. Darling can still impact a game without bags of goals.Am I reading right in that he still kicked 49 goals this season? That seems way off, did not appear to have that sort of impact

I think he'll be fine if he can get a decent run at it, the problem is he's now two seasons removed from having a proper pre season. In todays comp, you only need to be 5% off your opponent and you may as well not be playing at all.
Fingers crossed his body get's a rest and he can do a decent pre season coming into 2020, and we manage him throughout the season.
He missed almost all of the pre season. I hope he gets fit and has a full pre season. I think we need to transition him out alowing brander and allen to grow into roles.I want him to play for another 20 years at his peak, so no one is bagging him. Whilst his goals per game are still reasonable, his defensive effort (through age and loss of speed) is non existent.
When was the last time you remember a Keneddy chase and run down for holding the ball? He used to do it regularly. Pretty much now he doesn't even bother trying.
DittoLets hope he has a better preseason, he hasn't had one for at least 3 years.
Imagine JJK playing in a prelim this week for Collingwood or something after we traded him for pick 88.On another note, although at times it is frustrating how long we hang onto players in their decline, we do handle the retirements of our champions with aplomb and respectfully.
There would be riots in the streets if we pulled off the crazy s*** Hawks do with their stars, ala Hodge and the like.
Yeah screw that crap sideways.Imagine JJK playing in a prelim this week for Collingwood or something after we traded him for pick 88.
Bleh.
Delivery is important. Consideration must be given to the fact that we had Nat for only 5(?) games. You can almost rely on the following scenario happening at least once a game. Nat tapping the ball down to a running Shuey with him kicking it to a leading JK dead in front of goals about 40m out. He would convert a minimum of 75% of these opportunities which would mean another 14 or 15 goals for the year. I think we wouldn't be having this conversation if Nat played every game and JK finished with say 63 goals for the year? He's good to go for another year in my books.
Certainly not the reason for the finals exit.
Delivery into F50 dropped was highly inconsistent this year. The patches where it was done well were sublime but this was outweighed by the kick it up high and hope periods.
