I've heard and read many reports on this guy... could we have the next Brown? He's certainly as tall enough, and if he puts on a few more kg's he could be a nightmare for opponents in years to come.

Anyone here seen him play?

Lets give the kid a chance firstly recover from his injury, then to actually put the boots on and get a game or two before we start labelling him the next whoever!

He's no J.Brown.

His style of play is probably more of a skilled version of Earl Spalding. He is big and strong and is constant motion. He has a great engine for a big bloke, but he is not explosive off the mark like a Brown.

He is as honest as the day is long, will not shirk an issue and will make defenders pay for getting in front of him.

Will be in the Dark Navy Blue jumper for many years to come.

No comparisons needed. The kid looks the goods and has a great attitude both on & off the field. Isn't that enough? Do we need to say he is Jonathon Brown, Steve Kernahan or whoever? He is Josh Kennedy and has his own style, skills, footy nous, etc. I don't want a Brown, Kernahan look-a-like, I want a Josh Kennedy 200 gamer at CHF playing his own style.

Comparisons aren't unusual at this time of year. They let supporters know what to expect of a young gun.

It's happening everywhere:

Murphy = Cousins
Deledio = Judd
Tambling = Wells
Franklin = Riewoldt
Thomas = Hird :D
Hurn = Riccuito
Sylvia = God
ect..

Lets wait and see him play a season or so before we start making predictions about this kid. Certainly his attitude is terrific, but so is Prenda'a, although one would hope he'd go on to bigger and better things than Prenda.

Anybody who has seen him play will tell you he has all the attributes required to play AFL. Surely thats enough?

very well macca, his got the sling off and is doing sprints and wont start the aggressive stuff for another month or so, but his attitude towards everything is great, hope he can get back well and play a few games.
