I was expecting the brace to be off last week and kinda was getting a little worried.

I just went back and looked at the injury report video from 29th July and Burgo actually says, 'the heavy brace'.

"Josh will get his heavy brace off this week and that will enable us to do a fair bit more work with him,” Burgess said.

“It will also give us a bit more of a picture of how far away he is from running and training, and therefore playing.

“He’s done a lot of work while in the heavy brace, with it removed he’ll be able to do a lot more.”

TBO I can't stand the look of TT's beard personally but if it brings him luck not getting injured and playing the way he is keep it!!!

I wouldn't rush him back. You would only think about rushing a player back for finals if they're one of your best players or key to your structure. It would be great to have him back, but he's not at that point imo.

I'd argue that Michalaney is more important for our finals chances than Rachele. At least it's looking likely he'll be there for week 1.

No way he has the continuity credits required to play finals, Max too. And it would be disrespectful to the players that have been getting the job done in their absence. If we get injuries we could consider these guys, but otherwise I think we stick with the current 23 with minor adjustments if someone in the 2s is playing out of their skin, like Dowling last week.

He was top 10 in the B & F when injured even accounting for his missed weeks from the rib injury.
