A liability that shouldn't even be on an AFL list. I've been a Buckley supporter but how this idiot gets in over Scharenberg is baffling. Ordinary player with no outstanding skills, we have at least 6-7 of his type already. At least Keeffe is a big body.
I know you'll be reading this Josh as you always read posts about yourself on here and Facebook, I'll expect another PM sometime soon will I champ?

Are they the ones from ages ago or more?

Will be interesting to see how he is deployed. I would probably prefer him in the defensive forward role rather than in the midfield, but with Greenwood also in the side (and usually in that role), does that mean Greenwood plays in the midfield? FWIW I think Greenwood has been pretty poor for a few weeks and wouldn't have bothered me if he was dropped.

Good luck to him today though. To play a game after almost 3 years out of the seniors is a good achievement in the circumstances. Tony Armstrong, Harry O, Luke Ball and Sam Dwyer were some of his teammates the last time he took the field, shows how long he's been out.

It's also funny how most thought Keeffe had the better chance for success yet Thomas is the first to play a game of the two.

Been good, one slip, but really good, right up to the tempo

Good game.

Pity the result

Was fantastic all things considered today. The fact he was probably top 3 in te middle says a lot about him but also probably a lot about how we are travelling...

He was really good, clean with the ball and was pretty hard at it. Didn't seem to struggle with the pace of the game either which is encouraging given how long he's been out.

Another mid with no footskills.

Good luck, Josh.

But im not expecting much.
Funny one, that. I've always had Josh Thomas in the "neat" kick category, i.e. he can routinely hit a target over 30-40m without kicking a floater, but lacks penetration and would be unreliable beyond that distance. Today didn't dissuade me from that opinion... thought he was ok and his work by hand in traffic was pretty good and at times excellent.

He was no-where near our worst today.

Well played jt.

along with De Goey Josh was one of the few positives we can take out of yesterday's game.

Good clean hands at the contest a number of times.

in racing terms, he should improve with the run.
