This bloke, like Marley, is becoming a lock. He is very serviceable in the midfield. Thought he'd get pushed out by beams but the club may have no choice but to fit him in. He was a good sub tonight.

Couldnt agree more. I was surprised he was sub because it normally goes to an outside running type. But when he came on he was fantastic. Excellent stuff from the youngster......he didnt sulk....just got on with it

Gee that's harsh mate!
He'll at least be the next Ben Kinnear.

This guy has been getting mauled in this forum lately. Ben Kinnear - The Answer!

Happy to admit I was totally wrong about Josh. I never thought he was a bad player but I did call for him to be delisted as he had been on the list for a fair while, was always injured and had not debuted. I thought we were wasting a spot on him. These days I absolutely love him. Easily best 22 right now and getting better. Will be an essential in our midfield for years to come if he can stay on the park.

Bumped. Only because I have been a rap for JT for quite some time and I am extremely pleased at his progress this year.

Could have dropped his bundle after the years in the wilderness. Instead he drove an Uber, trained hard and has come back as a gut runner, a great set shot and a tackle machine.

Dare I say he's one of the reasons we're such a good clearance and transition team for the last 2-3 weeks? So happy for him. And happy for us!

Tear it up on Anzac Day young man.

One player last year I thought was bordering extinction, Buckley persisted with him, gave him plenty of opportunity over others. Poor field kick but is currently impacting the score board. I can't complain about that, playing well!

I'm really happy to see him having such a great start to this year - being 'caught' using recreational drugs can be blight on many a young life in our society today, so to see a young fella not let its effects ruin his career or dreams is a very positive things for me.

From his strong debut year we could see he was clearly talented, but he has now come into his peak years and his endurance and core strength have come on too. If he can keep performing like this - kicking some goals, qucik hands and good clearance work and offering outside run - I see him being a really valuable member of our team for years to come.

He always seems comfortable with the tempo of senior footy.
Doesn’t miss a beat.

Great demonstration of persistence and being hard at it, but with a dash of toughness and talent mixed in.

Just for clarification, he was “caught” using performance enhancing drugs.

He's a gun.

Gut runs, bull in the middle, classy disposal and always gets a goal. Most underrated at Collingwood.

He's pretty much playing Jarryd Blair's role except he kicks goals and can chop out in the middle better.
