I really hope he gets one more year to show what he can do. Surely he will, we have a few retirees, tradees, and delistees, we can't let too many go.
 
Rest easy, he won't be delisted. The club rates him and he's finally gotten his body right and put a string of decent games together.
 
He could be as valuable as a new recruit this year. Having been around for a few years, he has developed the upper body strength. If his legs allow him to get some miles into them this pre-season, there is no reason why he shouldn't be ready to go straight away. Good luck JT, we need you.
 
MUST be retained, if only for the potential shown. Completely agree with posters here. We have so much actual deadwood in the VFL that we should see to the door first. If Thomas actually begins to realise his potential next year it will be a huge bonus for us. I pray that he doesnt end up the midfield Rusling. Please NO MORE INJURIES!

You're a bit late on the JT train, most of us have been on it for years.:cool:

2013 will be a big year for him though, injuries have ruined just about every year he's had at the club, and if he can't stay fit next year, his potential won't keep him on the list.

So it's your belief that he is going to come out & blitz this year. However, due to our salary cap restraints we have to trade him for pick No1.

That is what you're saying isn't it?
 
Time will tell but is he undersized maybe? Are we saying he will make it as a mid or small forward?

We have a few of this type on our list, how many players 176cm and under can you have in your starting 22?
Blair 174cm
Elliot 175
Krak 176
J Thomas 176
Ugle 172

IMO in some matches we had one too many of this type on the park last year (probs due to injuries), they seem to be brushed aside with ease in contested situations and struggle to bring down bigger bodied players in a tackle. Not sure you can have Blair, Sinclair, Elliot, Krak & J Thomas in the same side. Mids seem to getting bigger & bigger nowadays.
