Actually I heard the news before I logged on to big footy, I was looking for the thread and put two and two together with a shake of my head but if I didn't I probably wouldn't have even clicked on the thread it seemed very teeny bopperish. If an opposition supporter having a browse or even using the search function looking for news to read about his re-signing they would miss it, so I stand by my comment.

What can i say. I was tweeting my friends while loading my One Direction collection onto my new iPod when i got the news, so i just posted as fast as i cold so i could go hang out at the mall.

Sorry mate no need for that the board is for everyone young and old, its just a pet hate of mine as my young niece does it all the time it annoys the hell out of me. I find it just plain lazy but you young kids find it cool, I get it.

Full credit to MARK in TIME for calling the McVeigh for Captain way back in the full swing of the McHack era of this Board. Even though I defended him, not even I thought he would a) be captain and b) a Premiership Captain at that in 2009.

Ah, I love it when I'm right.

Macca has surprised me too though. Reading down that thread I thought he would get it partially due to a lack of other viable options. In all honestly, he has deserved his captaincy amongst a crowd of stellar leaders and last year he was certainly a finer player becasue of it. Sitting in the stands at the granny at half time he was my Norm Smith medalist.

On topic, great work all-round in the re-signing of Kennedy. He's been so good since his move. In all his interviews he always reels off a cheesy line about wanting to repay the Swans faith in him, but really we made no sacrifice in acquiring him and everything since then has been a dream. We've got a premiership, he's got a premiership medal and really either one wouldn't have come without the other.
