Not really one for individual awards, although they are nice to see, Jack has a big chance to bridge the gap on Buddy and get himself back in the Coleman Medal race. It starts this week against the Suns.

GO JACK!

Fingers crossed. I put a few bucks on him when Franklin got out to an early lead. I figured he'd get suspended at some stage and bring Jack back in it.

I also had a cheeky wager on the Pav for the Coleman which is gaining legs.

Hopefully we keep enough players on the park to kick the bloody thing to him!

Buddy would still be on track for 75, even if he missed 3 games, Jack on track for 62 (going by their averages).

If Buddy misses a few and Jack gets some we could have the first winner to kick less than 70 since Leigh Matthews in 1975!

Start kicking straight and he might do it. And we might be in the hunt for finals as well.

But he just hasn't got the kicking boots on this year - hopefully he's just about to rip it up.

Anyway, as much as I am a JR fan, Buddy is the easily the best KPF this year and deserves the accolade. That guy is such a freak. If he could kick straight 100 each year. Glad he can't as that would make the Hawks much more formidable.

When Jack plays well, Richmond play well.
Jack wins Coleman = Richmond make finals... IMO of course.
This.

Not too fussed about if he wins the Coleman or not (though would be good for him being very much a confidence player, get his swagger back).

Simply put, a dominant Jack kicking bags of 4-5 goals each week would go a long way to help us make the 8 this year. With Vickery gone, McGuane still being relatively unproven as a forward and Martin not dominating as a resting forward like he did last year, our need for a strong and reliable avenue to goal is of great importance.

If Jack keeps having on and off weeks, I wouldn't be terribly confident of making the 8 if we need to rely on guys like McGuane, Nahas, Derickx and Edwards to score a bag each on a regular weekly basis. (Not having a go at any of them) Just saying sure snagging 1-2 goals each creates a good spread but I'd very much rather have that spread on top of a dominant KPF :thumbsu:

We need to boost our percentage (St Kilda's is way out in front and we are unlikely to catch up) but if we can have better percentage than the teams around us fighting for those last 2 spots (Geelong, Blues, North, Freo etc), it will only increase our chances of making the 8.

If he gets on his bike, runs and jumps at the pill and not do the point in the air crap...well he could kick 10.
Up the ground players need to move the ball quickly too, a la Adelaide Q1...then he might kick 15.
