Chris Judd Vs Nathan Brown.

lets go back a few years, when we created a coup by getting N.Brown.

Nathan or Nafan for Sam Newman was 24-25 years old as well, and a very much respected player - not considered the best player in the comp.

I can't remember exactly how we got him, but if i was to guess, managemnt really wanted him.

Would a 24/25 N.Brown be worthy of a trade invloving pick 2 - yes absloutly - forget about his broken leg, cause that's hindsight - if we were discussing giving up pick 2 - we would have!

So why is it even an option when we have pick 2, and the league's best player is available - it's a given.

if the Tigers tell WCE no to Pick 2 - I think it shows members that they are not wanting to improve immediatly - rather then hopefully pick up another young kid whom will take a few years to develop and maybe make the grade - then after another few seasons of 9, 10, and 9 - turn around and say Oops - lets sack the coach and the supporters will be have to give another coach another 3 years to turn the club around - it's a circle of bullshit.

We deserve more, its easy to blame injuries, but if the club doesn't grab the best player in the league given we have a strong chance with pick 2, well we might have better to stay home and watch it on foxtel.

Its getting so confusing now. So many mixed opinions on weather to go for him or not. I've changed my mind a few times, but in the end if we could have him id get him.
I wont be upset if we keep our pick 2 but i wont be upset if we trade it to get judd.

hahahaha... Judd didn't even shortlist your rabble to his group of potential clubs. doubt he'd be happy at all ending up there.

It's pretty simple really. Both clubs are posturing over the potential trade but both parties know a trade will be done. End of story.

Maybe try and get Zantuck to nominate for the PSD nd you can bring him back into the fold.

You want him trust me.

As a WCE supporter I've seen most games Judd has played and the bloke is a freak.

I'm sick of all these Carlton fans saying they will give up pick 3 and Kennedy, but I reckon they have no idea how good Judd actually is.

They don't realise they are getting the BEST player in the comp, not just a good player, the BEST. This is a once in a life time opportunity.

U clown he is leaving where ever he ends up, either except a generous deal or let him go for nothing, doesn't worry us in the slightest.

I love how the eagle fans are getting all high and mighty when the bottom line is they couldn't look after their own backyard and the best player in the comp walked out on them

Yes I know he is leaving. I'm just making a point that I think about of people don't know how good he is.

Richmond.... Would you trade picks 2, 18 or 19 &/or Player for Mitch Morton.... and the Eagles force Judd into the PSD???

I WANT the tigers to get Judd (was my favourite VFL team before the Eagles entered the comp) but I also don't think the Eagles should to this to Judd (not make him play for the Tigers but force him into the draft) but if this deal was a possibility it would certainly show the Blues that pick 3,20 just isn't going to cut the mustard.

Yeah of course i want him, but if we keep our pick 2 i wont be shattered. Hopefully we give it a shot though.

I find it amusing that Carlton supporters are saying "accept our terms or let him go for nothing we dont care", yet come onto other teams boards to tell us their opinion.

IMO you do care what happens thats why your here which means you really want him.

An intersting post i read was if Carlton has a stalemate with WCE - they will turn to Richmond and offer the Tigers Pick 3 for Krak.

Now that would mean Calton gets Judd and keeps kennedy, and we get Cotchin and Morton - plus 1st PSD..... and the eagles get nothing....

thoughts? I would alomst go for that.:rolleyes:

Given that any such agreement to overlook Judd in the PSD is not binding, sure i'd take pick 3 for Krakoeur.

Then I would pick Judd in the PSD anyway and walk away with picks 2 & 3 as well. And there'd be nothing Carlton could do about it.

Rumour I heard was Eddie has swung support behind Richmond to help us screw Carlton.

Reasons are fairly obvious.

Unless you are Greg Swann disguised as a tiger supporter just for a laugh, you wouldn't have a single clue about the trade.

Judd wont fall into the PSD anyway. If there is a stalemate situation between Carlton and WCE, Mcguire will be waiting ready to pounce.

No we would not do this trade because we have to give up too many picks. We are rebuilding and need to develop our own players, not trade for star players.
