I was in the Southern Stand, behind the goals, bottom level, surrounded by Essendon fans, but boy did the Carlton fans make noise when something special happened!

Was a great atmosphere.

Oh yeah... Kreuzer > Judd xD

can't believe i didn't go, the atmosphere would have been great..

i would have been sitting with some snobby members anyway so i guess that's a plus i didn't go

He did go on longer sustained runs but he was a snail, no faster then the ruckmen. He will get better though so encouraging signs.

He is an absolute superstar of the competition, last night did nothing but confirm that.

Watching him going at probably around 80% fitness last night it was clear that he was several clases above every single other player, particularly midfielder, on the ground.

His goals were special and the atmosphere around the ground when he kicked them was incredible.

Can't wait for a few months when he's back to his best.

Actually, before that... What a goal from Banno
He lined up on T. Cloke last time we played Collingwood.
Other options are Swan (he, like Carrazzo) gets tons of the ball, but his disposal isn't the best and often doesn't hurt opposition teams.
Pendlebury (one with fantastic disposal, who can hurt opposition teams when he gets his hand on the ball)
H. Shaw (dominated against Richmond today), it's an option, we can play Banno as a forward playing on H. Shaw, if Shaw tries to go forward, or go into the midfield, Banno can easily go with him, and maybe Banno can just not leave his side all day, therefore, stopping Shaw getting cheap possessions across half back and having time to set up Collingwood going forward.

Now, back onto the topic of this reply, Kreuzer last night, in the 2nd or last quarter, cannot quite remember (Essendon were kicking to the end I was sitting at), Kreuzer was backing back and then decided not to do anything (not even put his arms up, he didn't leave the ground or anything), Lloyd took a chest mark, but in my opinion, Kreuzer should have jumped up, taken the contact and made a contest of it, even if he doesn't take the mark, we might get the loose ball, as long as he puts in the contest.

In his first game, I wont be too critical, considering he was awesome, and chipped in with two goals at the other end, one which he roved like he was 175cm, not 200cm... but, if he continues to pull out of contests which he clearly (as the ruckman 'in the hole' as they say, should be going up for), I'll be worried

1. He had Hille behind him I'd be shitting myself too

Ah ok, he did it more than once that I noticed.

Anyway lets focus on the positives he was terrific, looks so natural. Cannot believe how well he held his own in the ruck

Ackland will not get another senior game for the blues.....YAY

It was a real buzz watching him starting to motor along the other night and he will only get better once his back to full fitness.

You guys at the Weagles definitely had a special 6 years watching him tear up the opposition.
